i'm just in season 2, so i was wondering if there were any episodes involving one of the characters getting sick?

There are two episodes where Daniel Jackson sneezes: The Gamekeeper (2.04) and One False Step (2.19).

There are also a couple of episodes that deal with illness, although they're more "if we don't find a cure we're all gonna die" type situations: Frozen (6.04) and The Fourth Horseman, Parts I & II (9.10 and 9.11). There's also tiny bit at the beginning of Nemesis (3.22) where Daniel Jackson's just had his appendix removed, which was included because Michael Shanks was recovering from a real-life bout of appendicitis.

If you're also into Stargate Atlantis, there's an episode where Sheppard has a cold (which turns out to be an important plot point): Irresistable (3.03).

How many episodes did Daniel actually Sneeze in? I really must watch the show because it sounds like a lot

Just a few episodes: Children of the Gods (season 1, episodes 1/2), The Broca Divide (season 1, episode 5), Singularity (season 1, episode 15), The Gamekeeper (season 2, episode 4), and One False Step (season 2, episode 19).

As far as I know, there aren't any after season 2. One False Step is definitely my favourite though
