Talking about youth cultures here (eg.emo, punk, goth, hip hop, chav, preppy, redneck, indie/hipster, rocker,etc.)

Which ones do you think would be most inclined to use a hankie?

What about someone out of the norm, non stero- type like for instance a body builder type big muscular frame with a shaven head??

Possibly the indie/hipster, as they may be environmentally conscious, and also the emo/goth, as hankie's are a bit contrarian. Preppys would only use them as pocket squares.

personally i think:

indie/hipster-lack of mainstream popularity and environmentally conscious

goth-contrarian (cool word) and old fashioned appeal

maybe skaters coz they're handy out on the go

...and maybe nerds...
