Lime
So today I had a class in Modern Japanese Litterature. Pretty boring. My teacher is a japanese lady, maybe 50 or so, very smartlooking and not too badlooking with long wavy black hair and dark eyes.Anyhow she was talking about some famous book, can't recall the title, when she mentioned this character called Kushami-sensei (=Professor Sneeze) and I'm like "what the heck?" xD But the rest of the class didn't seem to know the word Kushami and she couldn't figure out how to translate it... "How do you say that in swedish?"Of course, I would've been able to tell her right on the spot what sneeze is called in swedish, english and a bunch of other languages I don't even speak but that's beside the point xD I, like many others here, are uncomfortable speaking fetishy words out loud, especially in my native tounge, so I just kept my mouth shut and left the rest of the class to figure it out for them selves. *mean smile*L (Chinese guy): Well, in english it's called Sneeze, but I can't remember the swedish word.A (girl): Sneeze...? "Snyta"? (to blow your nose)Teacher: No, not Snyta. Like "Attccho!"A: Ah, "Nysa".Teacher: Yes. Nysa. Professor Nysning. it's a shame I didn't catch that books name Link to comment
murphy dee
"I am a Cat" by Natsume Soseki! Haha, that took a bit of Google-fu, but I figured it out. XD Apparently it was written over 100 years ago, woah. Link to comment

Sitruuna
Swedish people speaking Swedish. @_____@Nothing more to say....okay, yes there is. LoL, somehow I'm imagining you there all "ugh, too awkward to say out loud" and "heheh, let them figure it out themselves, heheh, let see how long it takes them *evil laugh inside*"...Anyway, it's kind of interesting there's a character with such a name in an old book. Just a quick reminder.Anyway! Fetishy words coming up in language class is always interesting. I, too, am studying Japanese (lots of Wapanese Swedes up in here! ), and I'm kind of looking forward to when we get to the health/body chapters. I have no trouble saying fetish-related words in English, so I should be able to participate while keeping my Poker face intact. Should be fun... Link to comment
