Leas
Okay, so I work in McDonalds. I find myself very easily distracted when I hear customers/colleuges sneezing. I remember one time when I was in the office with one of my managers he had a sneezing fit right next to me, I was polite and said 'bless you' but it really bothered me. I have no idea why. I don't know if I find it uncomfortable or just very attention grabbing. Anyone else have this problem at work?SneezyPrincess. <3 Link to comment
Joal 555
It depends who it is that is sneezing, and who else is about at the timeBut I know what you mean, I have had some uncomfortable moments too (as well as some awesome ones!) Link to comment
Lucian
I can't stand my co-workers' sneezes. I kind of view them as like family. Which means I spend too much time at work, but that's the category I put them in. I'll be polite and say "bless you" but it's really uncomfortable. Link to comment
mystic-chibi
For me the time and place have to be right most of the time for me to become uncomfortable in a good way, so I don't really have any reaction or feelings to when most of my coworkers sneeze. It's kind of like going to a mixed gender hot spring, it's just not the time or place for those kinds of thoughts. However, with that being said, I do have one coworker who has a very attractive sneeze and I find his to be distracting because he often doesn't stop with only one. Link to comment
sneezesweater
I love it! There are two women I work with who both have loud sneezes. Makes my day when I hear a big sneeze and a nose blow from one of them. This usually occurs in the morning, although one of them sneezes a lot more often than the other. she lets them out at random throughout the day. Link to comment
marv77
Yes; it can be very distracting. Link to comment
ScorpionPrincess
I'm pretty much always uncomfortable. I feel like "my fetish is showing" even though I usually don't look or say anything. I am too nervous and embarrassed to really do much of anything. For example, a customer yesterday sneezed four times (away from me, at least) while I was helping him but I had no idea what to do since I never say bless you and I am usually shy to begin with. So I just said what I usually say to my boyfriend, which is "don't die." Which probably sounds really awkward. Oh well. Link to comment
Bondi
I don't consider my coworkers to be like family or anything like that. They're just people I work with and people I might talk to from time to time. However, most of the people that I currently work with are not the types of people that I would want to see sneeze anyway. Even if they were, it wouldn't distract me or anything; I might enjoy it during the moment and then go about my tasks. Same with customers. Link to comment
LeadaAlexys52
I feel like I could go on forever about customer and co-worker sneezes. I work at a drug store so I'm around them all the time. In truth ever since I joined this forum I kind of became hyper aware of sneezes particularly from some of my co-workers so I agree that it is very distracting. I have one co-worker who sneezes at least once a shift. He actually has a pretty good sneeze, and a few days ago I heard him sneeze five different times during my shift. So although it is distracting it can be very enjoyable. Link to comment
