Christmas Raffle!

Hello, everybody.

I'm Benjamin Wolfe and I have decided to hold a little raffle for the holidays.

The prize will be a picture of your design drawn by one of the many fine artists I know at my expense.

All contests need rules.

Rule 1: The image can contain only one character.

Rule 2: An image reference must be included.

Rule 3: The image must contain sneezing.

Wow, I'm kind of disappointed by the lack of entries compared to the amount of views. Are guests the only one looking at this thread? XD

I'm interested. I just felt awkward being the first to post, being new and all.

I'd like to give this a shot, but the thing is, I'm kind of torn between two ideas. And worse, one of them doesn't really have a reference. It would basically be your stereotypical French maid, and I'd feel weird just uploading a stock photo. Any ideas what I should do?

You could use a character from an anime, or I could give the artist freedom over the design of the character itself and just tell them the pose and idea.

New or not don't ever feel awkward about posting. Nobody on the forum bites.

I intended to post right when I saw this! But I wasn't immediately sure what to ask for and decided to think about it a bit... and then I forgot to post. But here, I'll do so now if that's okay!

Character Name: Syaoran (from the manga/anime Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle)

I can provide more, too, if necessary.

Pose/Idea: Him sneezing from allergies to a bouquet of flowers he's holding. He would be polite and cover his face somehow (hand, elbow, etc.)

Thanks for the suggestions. I just assumed I should post a picture of a person in an actual French maid costume. But I thought about it, and I decided to take a gamble with my other idea.

Character Name: Horatio Hornblower

Pose/Idea: Horatio sneezing harshly into a handkerchief, bent slightly at the waist by the force of it. Both hands are clasped over the handkerchief to hold it in place, and he's pressing it against his face, covering his mouth but leaving his nose visible. His hair is a little mussed, and the edges of his nose are red, giving the impression that he's got a cold.

Idea: Shikamaru is standing in a bus shelter, attempting to avoid a snowstorm. He has an obvious cold, with bags under his eyes and a red nose. He's sneezing harshly into a handful of crumpled tissues, and he looks really exasperated. There are more tissues poking out of his pocket, and in the hand that isn't holding the tissues to his face.

Pose/idea: I like to think that when he sneezes he briefly loses control of his powers, so maybe he is in a situation where he has to holdback his sneeze?
