How do you feel sneezing in front of family?

I honestly feel like I could die I hate when I feel a sneeze coming and I do every thing I can to avoid it. If it really happens I'm the most embarrassed person on earth and what it's even worse when they bless me. Uugh. How do you feel?

I find it super embarrassing sneezing in front of most people, but family has to be the worse!

i never do it. NEVER. i fight my sneezes back with everything i have. because, yeah it IS embarrassing! even if nobody notices!

I hate it more than anything and do anything I can to prevent it. I feel like I can't enjoy the relief of the sneeze, especially if my allergies are acting up. If they bless me, it's worse and even if they don't but they still notice - it's terrible. It just makes me so uncomfortable.

I just press down on my nose, discreetly, until the feeling goes away entirely. Or, if I absolutely HAVE to, just stifle without any sound whatsoever (which I'm VERY good at).

They're usually not. And then there's always looking over your shoulder, or reaching to get something you don't need. When you've been doing it as long as I have you start to perfect your techniques.

I wish I could master it, especially today!

I think I would die if my family asked me that; but I think they do wonder since they know my allergies are horrid. How did I survive as a child?!

Never, never, never- i will always leave the room or even grit my teeth and hold my breath until it passes.... Probably not the best thing to do lol, or i just stifle and try not to make any sound at all. I actually cannot remember the last time i sneezed in front of my family!!

I don't have any problem sneezing in front of my family. I don't really like sneezing in front of people who aren't my immediate family, so normally I hold my breath if I have to sneeze. I don't mind when my family blesses me because it feels awkward if they don't, like they're pointedly ignoring it. It's not a big thing, though.

She's one of the really few who know. I'm glad she knows, because we're close. Same with a close girl friend of mine. But i understand your feelings though, it can get embarrassing

Gosh. I don't think I have sneezed in front of my family EVER. Except once. That was traumatic.

I usually try to hold back coughing by taking deep breaths. It usually works but sometimes backfires!

And sniffles are the WORST. You can never hide them.

Funnily enough, I'm not embarrassed to do it in front of my friends!
