deepinhale
This girl I work with basically sneezes like a toddler. She makes no attempt to cover and has a wet sneeze. I've seen her spray her desk, the floor you name it. She has hit people before as she makes minimal effort to even tilt her head if she is close to somebody. She has been called out on this before (It's a hospital, cover yo mouth!) but she still does it daily. The strange thing is that she seems to be a decent, polite person in most other areas. It's almost like she is oblivious to her sneezes. Has anyone ever seen this? Link to comment
alias
That is so odd, and that would drive me absolutely nuts. I would go crazy on so many levels. The germophobe part of me would cross my fingers and scream "GET BACK DEMONS!" The fetish part of me would find it unbearably awkward and I would just wish I was never in the room when it happened. Guh. It would also be hard for me not to say something about covering her mouth. That is just, weird. Link to comment
SneezySal
I hate that. Have you tried explaining to her why she shouldn't be spraying her germs eveywhere? I see it way too often and sometimes complain to the person that it's NOT acceptable. Link to comment
a-tissue
That is really odd and frankly unsafe in a hospital. Link to comment

•.*°•☆. Q .☆•°*.•
Can I just? Ew. ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew. I would not care if she did not work in a hospital and it were not a matter of being considerate to people who have ASKED YOU TO STOP, but since that *is* the circumstance, I am appalled. March Hare
Egh, that's nasty. So unattractive, too. Keep calling her out on it; it might help eventually, if only because the constant nagging will drive her to taking measures against it. *crosses fingers* Link to comment
_Daisy_
Ugghh. That's repulsive. Is she trying to get fired?? Link to comment
count tiszula
Sounds wonderful to me.....Sometimes I wonder if this forum is entirely dominated by people who hate sneezes..... Link to comment
Kshu
What? And she works in a hospital? I wouldn't be able to stand it, especially in a hospital! Link to comment
deepinhale
Fortunately, she is in a support position and doesn't have contact with patients. She also has a desk in our supply area so she really isn't around us a lot. She would catch a lot more crap if she was doing it in patient care areas. On one occasion I witnessed a nurse tell her to leave a nursing station if she couldn't cover her sneezes. She absently said, "sorry." She does her job very well so it gets overlooked. I love open sneezes in the right context, but this ain't one of them. Link to comment
stevie_sloth
Sounds wonderful to me.....Sometimes I wonder if this forum is entirely dominated by people who hate sneezes.....Heheh, I'm kinda with you. I actually LOVE that idea. I love how toddlers sneeze, but it's always been awkward because I find no appeal for the toddlers themselves of course (BLEGH!!!!!) and yet their sneeze style is appealing to me.I had a work friend who sneezed like this (didn't work in a hospital though), and she wasn't stupid or oblivious to things, she was actually very considerate and aware of stuff around her, and yet she would just...sneeze...completely openly, uncovered, very desperate and wet. Right at her computer screen most of the time. I found this...interesting to watch. I would try not to stare, but...yeah. lol Link to comment
rockstar
I love it when ladies have bad sneezing behavior. the more uncovered the better!! Link to comment

SneezeformeKristen
I love when people don't cover their mouth, but not in a public place. Giving other people there germs. Ew! Link to comment
Raven Insight
Although I'm not saint when it comes to covering or anything of the sort; this is awfully wrong and pretty gross considering it's a hospital. As for spraying desks and floors, perhaps that's not so bad. The floor is something i'm rather guilty of most of the time. But purposely spraying people, just ugh. No. Link to comment
katya
Even if i like sneeze, i dont like pspreading germ. You are not alone here. dont make enyone arond you sick! Link to comment
Ciel
On the floor is okay. But sneezing on people and desks? I just hope she'll be more sensible and considerate when it comes to flu season! Link to comment
