deepinhale
So my wife has been on the verge of catching a cold for about two days now. She has been a little more stuffy and sniffly than usual but no sneezing. (AARRGH) Last night, she decided to get a little relief from the congestion by using her neti pot. For those of you that may be unfamiliar, a neti pot is a little plastic vessel that's shaped like a genies's lamp. You fill it with warm salt water and pour it into each of your nostrils. It's definitely not my thing but my wife says it helps clear her out. Anyway, I'm laying in bed reading a book, when I hear my wife messing around in the bathroom. I have a great view of her in profile, standing over her sink. She is mixing her saline in the pot while rubbing her schnoz. She then raises the pot up to her ample nostril and tilts her head over to the side to let the fluid drain through. At this point I returned my attention to my book. Why would I do this during such a 'nosey' moment? The problem with the neti pot is that it never makes her sneeze.....until last night. As I'm trying to finish a chapter before I fall asleep, I hear her exclaim, "oooh, ouch!!" She must have sorted some water back through an unfamiliar passage because she suddenly discharged with what I can only describe as the sound a pump handle would make if it had to sneeze, "SCHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSHHHHHHGGGNNNNNNT!!!!!" It's impossible to spell it, it sounded primal and was pure fluid expulsion. I swear I heard the spray from her nose and mouth splatter into the sink. Needless to say, it got this guy's attention. I look up in time to see her in full pre-sneeze glory, her eyes closing, her hand coming up to squeeze her long nostrils tightly shut as she always does. She then pitched forward, aiming her sneeze directly into the sink with a powerful, echoing "SSSSSIIICHHOOOOOOOOOSHH!!!!! My view from the bed gave me a perfect view of the spray jetting from her pursed, pulsating lips as it covered the sink, faucet, and countertop. She then wiped the spittle from her mouth, muttering and groaning to herself. Next she buried her face in tissues and released what sounded like a liter of snot from her poor schnoz. After that, her nose was rubbed raw and ruddy red, poor thing!! I called from the bed, "You OK?" She nodded and said, "Better now that I'm clear." A good outcome for both of us! Link to comment

deepinhale
Tell me about it. The worst part is that she is sick so 'quality time' is not gonna happen. (Sigh) Link to comment
LoveFemaleSneezes
Hmm, does she know about your fetish? If not it is understandable why quality time would not happen, but if she does than why not? Link to comment
Natto
Hmm, does she know about your fetish? If not it is understandable why quality time would not happen, but if she does than why not?Knowing about it doesn't mean always wanting to indulge in it...and being ill can kill one's libido. deepinhale
I told her early on in our relationship but I'm pretty private about it. I don't think I want to explore it further with her, at least not anytime soon. I wish I could be more open about it but, hey, that's me. Link to comment

NoV
Does she always sneeze this explosively? Or did the neti pot cause her to sneeze unusually violently? Either way, sounds like an amazing moment and superbly described Link to comment
PollenFiend
Neither I nor my wife have ever tried a neti pot... Now you've made me consider getting one.Tell me about it. The worst part is that she is sick so 'quality time' is not gonna happen. (Sigh)My wife actually did let me have some 'quality time' with her one time while she had a cold (she knows full well what it does to me). Faaaaaaantastic. I do feel somewhat guilty about it, however. Link to comment

deepinhale
Oops! Quoted Nov and forgot my reply! Her sneezes vary greatly in volume and intensity. Sometimes they are pretty mild and subdued. She will sometimes stifle them. Other times, especially during colds, they are powerful, body bending spectacles. The thing that remains the same is the wetness. (Which I love). She almost always sprays openly since she holds her nose. I make it a point to closely inspect her front right after a sneeze. I can usually see droplets on her shirt or her generous cleavage. (Drool) Link to comment
