Family Sneezes Spoiling Moments

Does anyone else ever feel like they're having a really good time with a family member...only to have the moment shattered when they sneeze? This happens to me all the time and it's so frustrating. I don't really my mind my dad's sneezes that much, but my mom's are absolutely horrendous. It's especially awful when I feel as though I'm really bonding with her (a rare thing...we bicker to no end) and then she starts up. I know it's so awful, and stupid, and selfish...but whenever this happens, I find myself snapping at her or practically running upstairs in an effort to get away because I'm afraid there will be multiples.

My dad and I were fooling around with his new iphone when suddenly he sneezed. It was like a reflex... I just recoiled and dashed off muttering something incoherent about "germs".

I don't have a problem with anyone sneezing in my family except my dad. I would always cringe when he sneezed. There have been several occasions where we were talking and he would sneeze, causing me to become uncomfortable and leave the area. I have recently noticed that our sneezes are very similar. This makes me wonder, who am I making uncomfortable with my sneezes?

I don't have any problem with any of my family sneezing. Obviously I don't actually enjoy it like with other people's, but feel nothing towards it.

Often times when my parents are home I'll be enjoying myself doing something in an adjacent room (like cleaning the kitchen or making lunch or playing with the dog) and one of them will do that and I'll just jump and be on edge for like five minutes afterwards. It's startling and it makes me extremely uncomfortable.
