the-open-mind
I know that some of us have already posted topics about specific songs with sneezing in them, or a mention of sneezing, but it looks like most of the songs mentioned are outside of the mainstream.Off the top of my head, I can think of a few relatively mainstream pop songs that give me butterflies when I hear certain lyrics:1. Mope - by Bloodhound Gang - "never lose a sight of a girl sneezing"2. Bubbly - by Colbie Caillat - "It starts in my toes and I crinkle my nose"3. Blinded by the Light - by Bruce Springsteen - "with this very unpleasin', sneezin' and wheezin"4. Caught a Light Sneeze - by Tori AmosI just discovered a new one today. I was looking up songs that featured my favorite studio drummer, and I came across a song: Good Stuff, by the B-52's. I like it because it's catchy and it features my favorite drummer, but now I LOVE it because of its lyrics:"Take me down where the love honey flowsKiss you nice, nibble your toesTake me down where the good stuff growsLove you nice, tickle your nose"I found this to be very cool, so I thought I'd share it with you guys. Feel free to add to the list! Link to comment
Joal 555
The Pop Singers Fear Of The Pollen Count - The Divine Comedy (includes some sneezes in the instrumental break about two thirds through the song)Achoo - Sparks (from their 1970s album "Propaganda")Touchy - A-ha (includes the lyric "I sneeze to turn around")Industrial Disease - Dire Straits (from the album Love Over Gold - includes the lyric "somewhere in a corridor someone was heard to sneeze, could this be another case of industrial disease" - or something like that anyway) Link to comment
Akahana
There's always the song "Sneeze Doctor" from Veggie Tales, does that count? XD Link to comment
Bluebird
There's that infamous "Allergies" song by the BareNaked Ladies that's rather silly but has a fake sneeze in the middle of it xD and this might not count as a traditional example, but the song "Catch My Disease" by Ben Lee has a sneeze in the background about 2/3 the way through it, in the beginning of the last verse of the chorus Link to comment
SneezySal
Visions of Johanna by Bob Dylan:See the primitive wallflower freeze When the jelly-faced women all sneeze Link to comment
DELETED
3. Blinded by the Light - by Bruce Springsteen - "with this very unpleasin', sneezin' and wheezin"I like the Manfred Mann's Earth Band version better. Link to comment
Akahana
In "Arittake no ai de" by Gackt, there is a sneeze at the beginning and the end of the video (and It's a very pretty song but, it has absolutely nothing to do with sneezing XD) Link to comment

Wig_Powder
I can think of two off the top of my head.1. It's not exactly pop, but it's definitely well-known; "Skimbleshanks, the Railway Cat", from the Cats musical, includes the line "and a crank to shut the window should you sneeze", followed by a cute sneeze from one of the female cats.2. "Bombastic", by Shaggy (who sounds like a Rasta version of Alan Rickman to me), includes a line about sneezing, complete with a sneeze and a "bless you".I'm sure I'll remember more later. Bluebird
Ooh, yes yes yes! Musicals have quite a good number of sneezing in them- Guys and Dolls obviously being the most famous of this. There are the songs from Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls- "Adelaide's Lament" (which is all about her cold and has a sneeze at the end), and "Sue Me" (a song of her in a fight with her fiance, which typically has a sneeze in the middle of it).Seussical the Musical also has two: "How Lucky You Are" (sung by The Cat in the Hat, with a sneeze in the middle from a supposed allergy) and "All For You" (sung by Gertrude McFuzz, sneeze in the middle from the flu)."Shoeless Joe From Hannibal, MO" from Damn Yankees has a mention of sneezing in it by the singer, Gloria Thrope (line being "He sneezed and blew away a calf), usuallly accompanied by sneezing sounds from her or the chorus of baseball players, or both....you certainly can tell I've done my research, can't you? •.*°•☆. Q .☆•°*.•
the children's group Rosencrantz has a song called "noses" with a sneeze at the end that I really rather liked as a little one. Link to comment
Incendias
My favorite sneeze related lyric has always been from the song Anna Begins by Counting Crows:"And every time she sneezes it's love" Link to comment
SterlingSilver
It's not exactly a sneeze, but there is mention of a cold in this song:"Jar of Hearts" -- Christina Perri"You're gonna catch a cold, from the ice inside your soul."It's a rather sad, post break up song x'D. But I like it ^w^ Link to comment
Bluebird
That was actually the first thing I noticed from her song xDD I sort of wish it was elaborated/acted/whatever but seeing as it's a more somber breakup song, pressing on it didn't seem necessary. Link to comment
Chanel_no5
My favorite sneeze related lyric has always been from the song Anna Begins by Counting CrowsMe too! I've never been particularly fond of the song, but those lyrics kind of make me tingle inside. (didn't help that I've been in love with no less than three Anna's... ) Link to comment

Incendias
Me too! I've never been particularly fond of the song, but those lyrics kind of make me tingle inside. (didn't help that I've been in love with no less than three Anna's... )Hah! Are you kidding me! I'm still getting over an Anna from last year, my best (very allergic ) friend is named Anna and I'm fairly certain I'm falling for a girl named Annabell who goes by Annie but lets me call her Anna. There is just something about Anna's...the best friend one and I joke that I have an Anna fetish as well as a sneezing fetish... Link to comment
Wig_Powder
I've struck gold, you guys:http://www.lyrics.net/lyrics/sneeze311 songs that mention the word "Sneeze". Granted, they count each "cover" of a song, so there's probably actually less, but it's more than enough for our purposes, right? Link to comment
Grumb
I don't know it this belongs here, and I don't know if anyone is interested anyhow, cause it's a german rap song... but still ... ^.^There is this song called "I need a doctor (An mein Immunsystem)" by NMZS, in which he is complaining about his shitty immune system. Sadly there is no sneezing into the track, but it starts with the following lines:"To sylvester I've got a runny nose, little later I have cough. My lungs are full of lump and no breath at the micro. A few days draw around and I feel better. A little insecure footing and pale in the face, and I think I'm cured, but then it starts again. I thought I sustained but now I'm sick again." (I hope I translated it properly ) Link to comment
haruherohirahara
Eminem:"I must be allergic to failure.Cause everytime I come near it I just sneeze. But I just go, 'Achoo!' then achieve!"Survival if any of you were wondering Link to comment
Bluebird
As I discovered last night, there's an Ethel Merman track out there one one of her albums (The World is Your Balloon) with her and Jimmy Durante known as "If You Catch a Little Cold (I'll Sneeze for You)."The song's title is really only the hook for the entire song itself (as it's a love song that, sadly, has little to do with cold-catching and/or sneezing for your SO), but at the end Durante does give a fake sneeze with a little dialogue exchange between the two. It's pretty cheesy, but also precious at the same time. Link to comment

Bluebird
Totally just remembered about this a few hours ago - Owl City's "Peppermint Winter" has a very sweet lyric that goes a little something like this:Runny noseMy frosty toesAre getting cold but I feel aliveSo I smile wideIt's really not much, I know; but given the context of the song it is super endearing (in my mind, anyway).
