In an attempt to resurrect this thread and keeping it from being comment-locked, I'll do my own association (though if someone else wants to take a crack at it, feel free, since I'd love to see what people came up with).

Lick--people lick ice cream cones--ice cream--ice cream is cold--cold--cold as in the illness--sneeze.

New word: Crystal.
