He has cats...

This Wednesday was my friend L's 21st birthday, so I went to his house to hang out with L and his boyfriend A. We had fruity (no pun intended ) drinks and watched Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. And, well, I know L has two cats.... But I forgot to bring allergy meds home with me (I'm on spring break), so I didn't take anything. L took me home at 12:30 that night because I was so tired and stuffed up. I thought that once I was home, away from the cats, I'd feel better. But my dad never cleans, so his house is allergen city. I couldn't sleep because of how stuffy my nose was. I kept coughing and wheezing, to the point where I had to take my inhaler. And of course there were no tissues in the house, so I grabbed a roll of toilet paper and put it next to my bed. I finally fell asleep, but woke up every couple hours to rub my eyes, cough, get a drink of water, blow my nose, etc. At one point, I had a quick fit of four sneezes: "Heh-issh! Heh-issh! Hih-ISSH! HIH-ISSH!" Each was more intense than the last, with only enough time to gasp between each one. Luckily, my bedroom is downstairs, so I didn't have to worry about waking up. I woke up again around 5:30 when my dad got up for work. I sneezed a harsh double "Heh-TSSH! Hekschoo!" Then my dad offered me some Benadryl, and I decided to take it because I didn't have anywhere to be, so I could sleep in as long as I needed to. After that I slept more soundly, but I woke up groggy, with my nose streaming, my eyes itching, and a piece of toilet paper in my hand. It felt like a scene out of a sneezefic, except that I had no one to take care of me.
