The sun made me sneeze!

Just walked outside to take my dog for a walk and soon as the bright sun hit me, I sneezed twice in a row..eeeshewww haachoooo! They bent me over and I tried to cover them with my forearm. :)

It's actually a nice bright sunny day here too, I think I might go for a nice sneeze walk around the block myself. :D Are you usually pretty photic, or is this a bit of a rare occurrence for you?

It's pretty common for me... but only with the sun, artificial lighting doesn't do it for me.

Artificial lighting only does it for me if it's really sudden or if the difference in light is really great. Or if I stare intently at me light bulb for an uncomfortably long time. But some days are more sensitive than others.

I find it works better if I don't look directly at the light, because a "spot in my vision" develops pretty quickly, somewhat obscuring my vision. I generally look just to the side, just above, or just below the light, so the lesser-used, most sensitive rods and cones are stimulated. I also find that moving my eyes around a bit so more of the rods and cones are directly stimulated helps.
