Asking for fetishy stuff from an SO

Hey everyone!

First post to the forum so- take that as you will . I have been a non-user lurker for a little over a year, though.

Anyways, to the topic...

I started going out with my boyfriend a few months ago. Since then, we've been very open and honest about what we think and feel about each other, mostly because we were great friends beforehand.

Well, our quirks came out sooner rather than later. He told me a number of turn-ons he has and I found subtle but satisfying ways to apply to them.

Seeing as this was probably the primitive moment to chime in that I have a thinggggg for sneezing, I texted him "You know, I should tell you one of my turn-ons... I think sneezing is cute"

Initially, he seemed a bit confused. But responded with "Ahhhhh, so that's why you told me my sneeze was small on Tuesday " (which I had indeed)

Since those three months ago, he's been less sneezy than usual. Worried that I'd given him the infamous mental block, I stopped talking about my fetish as soon as I noticed.

Only this month has he gotten back to the one-sneeze-per-day routine. And even so, he's been emphasizing and putting a little more force into each sneeze. I brought up the change of events in a call and he said "oh yeah, those were purposefully emphasized, I thought you'd like that "

So I thanked him and explained how much I enjoyed the increase X) he was happy to hear that he could make ME happy.

Anyways, I'm wondering how I could get him to be a little more active. Many members here talk about how their SOs have applied to their fetish. So, should I ask him to do more? (I certainly want more) Should I ask him for texts when he sneezes? Should I ask if I can induce him? If he'd induce himself? Should I ask him to sneeze a certain way sometimes? I don't know.

I'd like to hear how your SO applied or reacted to the fetish. Did you ask for more or did they give more on their own?

Am I sounding creepy? I don't mean to sound creepy nor greedy... I will live thankfully with one sneeze per day ;P I've also got no problem with talking about things at a slow pace.

I've only asked 2 or 3 times in about 23 of being together. It not her thing at all, and it's far from a NECESSITY for me. She's tried anyway - PEPPER, which was a MISTAKE. Since then... meeeeh, not really keen to try again.

Sending it through texts is a great idea! I had to text my requests to my hubby while he was sitting right next to me cuz it helped me get out what I wanted to say and he was so happy I told him! He didn't know I wanted more or how I wanted it or anything. It's not for everyone but your boyfriend seems to be super interested in the fetish and that's always a good thing!! hey, so i'm on the other side of your perspective. my boyfriend has the fetish & personally, i LOVE when he asks me to sneeze for him or directs me on exactly what he wants to see (whether or not to hold it in, hair up or down, shirt on or off, stuff like that) when i'm inducing for him. it's fun & each sneeze is new and different. i also went through that mental block for a few months after he told me about his sneeze fetish where i never naturally sneezed in front of him. it was hell for me, it was hell for him, so i know what you guys are going through. about a couple weeks ago though, i finally sneezed in front of him, which was so great. lately, i've been using this chhinkni powder (instead of a bobby pin) that's worked perfectly. it induces multiple natural sneezes and starts working about a minute after you snort it. the look on my boyfriend's face after an inducing session is the greatest part for me & i'm sure your boyfriend would feel the same if you asked him to try experimenting with inducing.
