My girlfriend actually wants to see the forum.

I posted a little while ago about how I told her, and that it went really well. She's actually very curious about the whole thing, and she even volunteered to induce for me today. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised, albeit very embarrassed. I told her, after a lot of hemming and hawing, that there was a forum that had a lot of info on that kind of thing, and a lot of fanfiction, and she was actually really eager to look. I told her that tonight I'd show it to her, and I bookmarked a few fanfics for her that I thought were really good, but I'm also kind of freaking out a little. On the one hand I think it's awesome that she's so up for all this, and on the other, I'm afraid I'm gonna die of embarrassment. So I guess we'll see how it goes?

Good luck! It sounds like she's really supportive, so I bet it will go just fine. We've actually had a few member SO's join the forum and join in conversation! They usually aren't super active and often fade away after a while, which isn't surprising since there's probably not a whole lot here that's actually interesting to them, but it's always really cool to see how supportive and interested some people's partners are. I totally understand the embarrassment though, as much as I would be excited if I had a partner who wanted to see the forum, I'd still be really nervous at first that I would have said something really stupid somewhere or something
