Help with a vague memory

This may seem like a RIDICULOUS request, but if anyone was a kid in the 90s or earlier... I'm wondering if you could help me.

I remember this TV show or video tape, idk specifically, but I remember lots of characters and a dog. Idk if it was Clifford or not... I feel like it may not have been but who knows..

I remember the humans would start the show and then have this "magic" powder that made everyone cough and sneeze and then poof! everyone would be in a live action kind of scene with someone in a mascot dog suit.

Every time the humans would start to sneeze or cough, I would hide my eyes.. I have no idea why.. I was probably only 3 or 4 years old.

Anyway.. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, I'd be in debt to you!!

Is this my imagination or was this a real show?

I'm pretty sure it's "Clifford's Sing-Along Adventure" that you're recalling. I used to watch it all the time as a kid (since I loved Clifford and anything involving mascots or people dressed up in suits) and I loved the parts with the "magic flea powder" that caused everyone to sneeze, as well. I think there are some scenes from it available on Youtube.
