She looks up from her books when the teacher calls her name to board the bus. Her eyes lock with Aric's and she looks away quickly so he won't see her blush. She quickly gets up from her desk and rushes past Aric to the bus filled with students. She picks a window seat and sits down trying to make herself look small. THe next person to walk onto the bus is Aric. He looks over people till he meets her eyes. HE walks over and sitts beside her, putting his stuff in the overhead compartment.

" Hey, umm how are you?"

" Better then yesterday." She blushes bright red when she says this.

" And why, pray tell, is that?"

" Oh uh I was getting over strep so..." now she's sure her face is so red he will think she is dieing.

" Well, I'm glad you're feeling better. This trip wouldn't be as fun wiithout you." Now its his turn to blush red.

1 hour later

Aric had talked to her the whole ride up there and finally gained the guts to ask her to partner with him. She blushes but says yes. When they get off the bus, the TA gives them instructions for the first lab and tells them to get with their partner and find a quiet spot somewhere. Aric grabs Lillie's arm and pulls her to his faavorite spot. It was a quiet glave hidden from everyone with a stream and a plethora of water lillies. Lillie smiles and sits down with him not failing to notice the flowers she is most allergic to right beside her.

" Okay, I want to start the lab," Aric says. (fyi they are here for a phycology lab)

" Okay, ask away."

" Where are your birth parents?"

" Umm I don't" Lillie breaks off in the middle of her sentance trying to keep herself from sneezing. Her breathing becomes a bit unsteady and Aric leans foward hoping to help her.

" Are you okay?" She struggles to nod.

" hhh hh hhh hechoo hechoo hechii hejiij. Excuse me." SHe blushes bright rred.

" Um okay no problem bless you. Um who do you live with?"

" Andrew and Ella. My foster parents." HIs eyebrows shoot up.

" What do you look for in a relationship?"

"Acceptance, love, patience, and a Godly man."

" Oh so then what would be your religion since you say,' a Godly man?"

" I am a Catholic." Aric takes a breath and Lillie does the same though for a much different reason.

" Hejjix hejji hechoo hejjic hechoo hecoo."

" Umm LIllie-"

"Hejjix hejjix" She cuts him off. " SOrry."

THat's perfectly fine. Lillie would you like to go on a date with me?"

" Hjjxx hjjxx hjjxx hjjxx Sorry but why would you want to go on a ddate with me? You're way out of my leauge?"

" Which way?"

" Way better then me," she answers. She stops to look at the flowers. " hjjxx hjjxx hjjxx"

"Bless you." He says looking thoughtful." WHy do girls always say that? "

"What" She was thoughly confused.

" You're out of my leauge. If a guy asks a girl out he thinks she is so beautiful and finally gets the courage to ask her out then hears, you're out of my leauge." She couldn't tell if he was mad at her or just ranting.

"Hjjxx hjjcc. I think it's because it's true. If a couple is to work both have to think the other is better then they are sothey strive to be the best they can be. hjjxx hjjjxx hjjxx hjjjxxhjj."

"Bless you." Aric says smiling.

"And yes I will go on a date with you," Lillie says.

" There you guys are. I found them Miss Rose," Alli calls. " We have been looking everywhere for you two how could you just wander off...."

She holds her breath as the boy holds her hand. She tries not to breath in the tiny dust particals that would make her sneeze and bring the whole building down on them. Her breath hitches quietly so she grabs her nose between her fingers and tries not to breath. The boy points at a large antechamber and they slowly walk in. They look arround at the treasure laid out before them only to feel an ice cold hand on each of their arms. She tries to stifle a screak causing dust to fly up her nose.

"Hhhh hhh hh HAcHOO HECHOO HECKKoo." THe building rumbles as the girlfinishes her fit. Still caught in the throws of her sneezing the girl is unable to run. The boy however grows wings on his feet and flies out of there. The building shakes once again.

"HACHOO HECHOO." THat was all it took. The building came down, buring her alive.

THe people from this town say that you can still hear her sneezes and for the brave soul that will go into that buildings rubble they never come out and alll that's heard is a sneeze

Tick tock goes the clock that is keeping Blake and his whole class from starting their lesson. Also a girl. THe newest girl in school who just got there this morning. She was in the hall. THe door finally opens up and the teacher walks in in front of the most beautiful girl Blake had ever seen. The teacher stands in the front of the room with the girl off to the side.

" Class, Kia is joining our class this year. She will be welcomed and treated with respect. Understood," the teacher says all of this with a bored tone of voice. He look up when the teacher calls his name.

" Blake raise your hand so Kia knows where to sit." HE raises his hand and she starts back to my area.

" Hey, I'm Kia," SHe says her voice hoarse.

" Hey, Blake. Welcome to distric I'm awesome." She smiles. Her green eyes sparkle a bit too much as if she had a fever.

" Thanks looks like I am in the right place. I am pretty awesome." She grabs her pitch black hair and tries to flip it behind her but ends up hitting me in the face. She laughs. a bit and sits down.

" Sorry, I'm normally much more cordinated." he smiles and waves off her apology.

Halfway through first period, he feels her move kinda franticly.

"nnx nnx nxx hjjxxh hhjjjxxx hjjjxxx hjjjx hijjx." She was stifling her sneezes into her elbow. WHen she stops she lets out a little breath and rubbs her face as if she were exhausted.

" Oh no, Hxx hhxx hcc hccjjxx hjjjc hccjjjix hccjjxx hxxcj huh." She sits back in her desk and tries to take notes again. Blake was begining to worry about the awesome girl beside him who was obviously sick. He knew her eyes had been too bright. Not five minuites later, he is proven right again when her shoulders shook hard as she tried not to cough. Blake raises his hand.

" Yes, Blake?"

" Can I take Kia to the nurse, she's dieing?"

" Yes you may."' He gets up as Kia gatherrs her stuff, shooting him a nasty glare. When they get outside she doesn't say anything.

"Hello Blake, nice to see you. You're not sick are you?" HTe nurse says fussing about like a mother hen.

" NO but my friend Kia is," he says taking the fussing in good humor."

" Oh dear, let me look at you,:" she says moving her fussing over to the quiet girl in the corner. She gets one of the weird ear thermometers and takes her temperature.

" Oh dear. You should not have been sent to school like this. 101." She tutters about. SHe makes some calls that obviously don't go over well based on the look on her and Kia's faces.

" I'm sorry dear but you'll have to stay up here today."

"I'll take her home," Blake says.

"Oh Honey, you can't."

"Sure I can. I'll be quick..."

"No I mean, she lives at an orpanage and they won't let her home early because no one is there."

"Then I'll take her to my place," he doesn't know why he says it all he knows is it's worth it when he sees the gratatude in Kia's eyes. THe nurse works to get them both dissmissed from classes. She give them both a note.

"Hnnxx hnnxx hnnxx hxxnn."

"Bless you, dear," the nurse says as Kia sneezes again.

"Thank you," her skin blushes a light pink. He offers her his hand and she takes it.

"You ready?"

"Let's go."

Gotta move gotta move gotta move, I think as I jump from branch to branch hardly able to stop long enough to stifle a few sneezes.

"xxn nnxxx nxx nxn hnnxx hnnnxxxhnnxx." I land on a weak branch that bends under my weight.

'gotta gotta gotta can't slow down can't slow down.' I continue to fry from branch to branch occationally slowing down enough to stifle a few sneezes. My stomach growls and I frown at it.

" DO I have to be hungery?" I ask my body.

"Yes you do." I junp when I hear the voice thinking my body was answering me." Kierra, get down here and get some food before you pass out and fall out of the tree." Now I reconize my boyfriends voice. I roll my eyes he's so pushy. I climb down from the tree landing softly on the balls of my feet. I run up and give him a hug. He laughs at my speedy getaway when he tries to get me to sit at the table.

"You shall never get me alive," I yell running arround the house like a five year old.

"Kierra, come sit you beautiful butt down and eat something," Andrew fusses. I do go sit down but start drawing on the water on my cup.

"nxx nxxy nxxy nnxxxt nxxt nxxt tcch tcch tcch tchho tchco." I sneeze into my wrist. Andrew looks up at me.

"Are you okay Kierra? You're not getting sick are you?"

"No I'm fine, now will you give me the freaking salad," I snap at him. His eyebrows go up and he hands me the salad. I wish he would stop looking at me so critically so I could just sneeze. No way am I telling him about my allergies. He would be so disgusted.

"Nxxt nxxt nxxt nnxxt tcho tychcoo tchcoo thcco."

" Why don't you have soup instead of salad?" He asks.

"No it's way to hot and vegetarian soup is gross."

The next day

I run out of the house. I totally took my mediacation. And I'm totally not sneezing my head off.

"hxx hxx hxx hxx hxx hxx hxx hxx hxx hxx hxx hxx hx hxxh xxxh hhxxx hxxhx hxxx." I get up a tree about three hundred feet before I have another fit.

"Nxx nxx nxx nxx nxx nxx nxx nxx nxx nxxx nxx nxx nxx." SNAP I hear the branch crack and feel myself start to fall. Have you ever had a feeling that yuou know something is happening to you but you just don't care. That's how I feel now.I feel like I am looking on from a strong brach about to swing in to save her.

THen I hit the ground. All my breath is gone and i feel blood leaking out from both my legs.; THe injury isn't bad but it bleeds a lot. Andrew runs out of the house and gathers me in his arms.

" Why don't you listen to me and just stay in bed so you can get better.

"Ugh I'm not sick nxx nxx nxxn xxn nxx nxx nxtchooyh"

"Very convincing. I need to call the hospital.

" Andrew, look at me. I am fine. It's a little blood and my allergietchoo tchoo tcho thcoo."

"WHat do you mean, you don't have allergies." He walks on stupidly for a few moments before it hits him.

"ANd ...." I say.

"You have allergies."

"Yep."

"I'm still calling the doctor about that leg."

I look over at Flynn while she is taking her test. her face is screwed up in concentration as she tries to figure out the answers. THat is what she deserves after spending all year flirting with anything that moved. I send a glare her way. I look back at the test flying through the questions with ease. Suddenly I hear hitching breaths beside me. I glare at Flynn and she looks up and sends me an equally cold glare. I raise my eyebrows at her and expect the finger but insted she leans as close to me as possible and sneezes all over my test," hxxxxxxx hxxxxxxxx hxxxxxxxxxxxx hxxxxxxxxxx ." She was hopeing I would scream and get kicked out of testing so i just turned back to my test. Not a minuite later I hear her hitching breath again.

"Hehh Hhh.." I can tell she is trying to keep them qquiet so she doesn't get kicked out of testing but is struggling. As much as I hate her I don't want her to flunk because of a sneeze. I search my back pack and find the allergy meds I'm looking for and toos them to her the same second the TA turns arround.

" Ms.Clare, would you mind telling why you were giving annother girl drugs during a silent test?" She says with her over painted face scrunched up.

" She was sneezing too much to take the test so-"

"No talking during the test, you are dismissed Ms.CLare." I get up and walk out, at least I was done. I shrug.

'Where am I?' Kia thinks when she wakes up on a soft bed with a warm blanket wrapped arround her aching body. She immediately sat up and looks arround for the family that wants to get rid of her. Throw her out into the street when they find out about the halutions. She gets up to find herself in only her shirt. Provided it was a long shirt but she didn't remember where it had come from.

"Hechi hechoo hechio hjjxx hjjxx hccjj tchoo tchoo." She sneezes into her wrist.

"Bless you." She spins arround to see Blake the boy from her class.

" Thanks. Could you tell me where I hxx am." SHe asks.

" Sure," he says shrugging." your at my house. YOur fever got up there for a bit." She blushes.

" Um, well thanks. I'll get out of your hair. Um, thanks." She starts getting redressed trying not to think about the fact he had undressed her and had probably seen her scars. '

"Hjjxx hjjxx hjjxx hjjxx hjjxx."

"Bless you. ANd if it matters, I don't want you out of my hair. Why don't you stay and we can watch a movie or something." He seemed a bit nervous. She smiles at the thought of getting to spend time with him and not having to go back out into tha cold.

" Sure. What do you want to watch?"

" Um how about SPIDER MAN2?" She smiles.

"SUre I love that movire. DO you want something to eat?"

" Um I guess?" He seemes confused that the girl who had just been burning up with fever had just offered to cook. She smiles at him and looks arround until he leads her downstairs.

"The kitchen is through there, feel free to use anything you want to." HE still seemed confused.

"hjjxx hjjjxxxhjjjxx hjjxx hjjxx hjxxh hjjxx hjjx hjjx hjjx hjjxx." She walks over and washes her hands.

Later

" Kia if it's not too hard would you minnd telling me a bit about yourself," Blake asks.

"What do you want to know?" SHe asks wary.

" Umm what orphanage to you go to?"

" Rachells."

" Okay, um what do you do for fun?"

" Write, karata, listen to music." She was answering too quick. Blake wanted to have a conversation with her.

" Okay that's cool. And who is Al?" Heer eyes darken and she starts screaming.

hjxx hjxx."

" little, girl;what did I tell you about sneezing?"

"It's a sign of weakness."

" Exactly. Now you must be punished little one," He stops and rubs his chin even though he knows what he's going to do to little Kia.e

When she comes to, she realizes where she is and gets up and runs for the door.

'Crap oh crap oh crap oh crap. How do you lose a girl?' This flew through Blake's head as he ran arround the nearly empty town looking for Kia.

'How do you lose a person?'

"How could you let him see that you stupid stupid girl how on earth is he ever going to like you if he knows you are mentally unstable?" Kia curses herself out loud. She was wandering arround town just looking for something to kill time with. She has no idea how he got so close, she must have been sicker than she thought.

"Hecho hicho hico hicho hiichoi." She doesn't even bother to cover them up.

" Bless you Kia." SHe immediately sits up and looks over at the boy who spoke, it was Blake.

" Thanks. What are you doing here Blake?" She asks tired and upset.

" Kia you can't expect e to leave a sick girl to wander the streets alone."

" I'm not sick. I'm perfectly healthy." He raises his eyebrows at her.

" yes and two hours ago you weren't burning up with fever. Can we stop with the ridiculous lies now?"

" Hnnx hnnxx hnnxx hxnn hxxn vxx cttttc tcc thc tcht cth." She rubs her face with her hands.

" Are you sure you're not sick?" Blake asks. SHe nods.

"Well, do you want to come back to my place anyway?" SHe nods again and tBlake leads the poor sick girl home.

I look pleadingly up into the eyes of the handsome young king. HE looks down on my hidious cold stricken face with tenderness.

" Of course you may have the remedy you seek. Physition." The king arranges for my medicine. my nose tickles and burns in the way you know you just can't controll.

"hhh..hhh..hhhh hechoohechoohechoohechoohechoohechoo " I do not even have time for a breath in between the sneezes. The king gives the the medicine and a blessing and bids me go.

Oh that woman was marvolous. Even in her illness she was striking. HEr eyes glowed a deep brown of the sweetest of chocolate and her hair was a river of gold more lucious than any I own.

" HEY MAMA STOP IN THE NAME OF THE KING," I hear a guard yell. He comes to the throne room with the woman I had seen a day earlier.

" Your highness, this theif was found with a remedy that she had not paid for trying to get into the palace halls what shall I do with her?"

"hhh hhh hhh hechoo hechoo hechoohechoohechoohechoohechoohechooohechooehcooohechoohechoo." The woman was pale and guant. Her eyes fever bright and she looked positivly horrindous. The guards were keeping as little contact with her as possible.

" Send her to the shaman and have her housed and fed until she is well then I wish to have the maiden as my wife." The guards were positivly flabberghasted.

" Y-yes s-sir. But are you sure you want this woman, she is but a lowly pesant?" I nod.The woman stands up.

" Am I?" She takes off her cosmetics and phesant garb and before us stands a perfectly healthy Queen Elizabeth. The only known Maiden for my hand.

Kia lies at the end of Blake's bed waiting for him to get home from his late class. As much as she loved Blake, she wasn't sure how long they should date. Her original thought was never but as she got to know and trust Blake, she fell in love. She is dragged out of her thoughts when she hears the door open. SHe looks up and sees a bedraggled Blake coming up the stairs and sits up. She getss up off her butt and walks over to him rubbing his back and leading him to the bed. He is soaking wet and it starts to sink into her shirt. He can tell this so he triess to push her off.

" Don't want you to get all wet,' He says still managing a 1000 watt smile even when he is obviously ill. She rolls her eyes but is secretly touched by how much he cares about her wellbeing."

" Come on mr let's get you to bed."

" Why I want to watch tv." He pretends to whine all the way to the bedroom.

"Okay why don't you change and I'll make you some tea." He tries to look digusted by the idea of such a girly drink but she can tell he's relieved.

When Blake comes down from the shower, she hands him the fresh lemon tea. He takes a cautious sip and smiles.

" I hhhdhhdidn't khhknow youhhh hechoo hechoo hechoo hechoo hechoohehoo Sorry, I didn't know you could make tea."

" Yep I used to love it and the little ones in the orphanage still do."

"Hechoo hechoo hjjxx gjjjxx hjjxx."

Blake wakes up with a stuffed up head, a throat that hurts like crazy and no girlfriend. Where was Kia? He gets up and looks arround the house till he finds a post it on the sink.

part of the letter was illegible. Blake got the idea though, Kia needed space and was breaking up with him. HE feels tears running down his face. He didn't cry when he broke his arm or when he ruptured his apendix, but being sick and dumped made his emotions go into overdrive. He goes and sits on the couchTears plus being sick is not a good mix. his nose was so stuffed up he couldn't breath at all. He holds his breath when he feels the dreaded tickle in his nose.

"Hjjxx hjjxx hjjjxxh hjjxx hjjxxhjj hjjxx hxjj hxxjjj gxjjjj hgjjxx hjjjjhhxx" He aimed the sneezes at the floor. Spit splattered the coffee table and the ground.

A few hours later

I hope Blake is okay i hate leaving him alone when he's ssick,' kia thinks. She smiles at the though of a cute sniffly Blake all curled up on the couch drinking soup.

SHe hurries onto the pasture and the horses she was caring for. Once she had fed and watered the horses, she hurried onto Blake's house. She let herself in and rushed into the living room where she found a sobbing Blake laying on the couch with a tub of half eaten icecream.

" Oh my what happened to you," She was kinda freaking out because Blake never cried. He had ripped his ACL twice and not said anything so why was he cring now?

" What happened is you're leaving me and are only coming bahhhh hjjxx hjjxx hjjxx hjjxx hjjjxx ghjjxx hgjj back to gloAT." He was barely understandable.

" What do you mean I left you a note telling you i was leaving for the orphanage and would be back later. I'm not going anywhere,' she says.

Alice looks up from her forth year potions book over at Aaron. She had found the perfect spell, it would make a man sneeze if he was attracted to the woman who cast it. She leans down over the caldron and works on finishing the potion. If this worked she would totally get an a from Slege. She puts in the last ingredient, a powdered unicorn horn. The powder billowed up around her enveloping her in the smoke. She breaths it in welcoming the familiar scent. She nods when the potion turns clear as water. She pours it into her water bottle just in time because not two seconds later, Aaron starts to cough. She raises the bottle so Slege can see it is her potion and walks over to give it to Aaron. He nods gratefully and take it. He takes a sip and stops coughing gradually. Then she knows it worked.

" hhh.hhh hecHoo hechooHechoo hechoo hgxx hjjxx hecjoo." He stops to take a breath and raises his hand.

" What," Slege asks harshly.

" can I hechoo hechoo hechoo hechooooo hechoo go see the medi witch?"

" No you may not. That was a master students final exam. Alice, come up here and tell the class what you did," Slege says. I smile and walk up the front of the class smiling. Aaron is still sneezing in the back ground.

" I did a potion that was clear as water that once consumed would make the person who had consumed it sneeze if they were attracted to the which that made it." I smile at Aaron

" hechoo hepchoo hepchoo hechoo." He shoots me the coldest glare I have ever received and I just smile back at him. Poor poor Aaron

" Hurry up, Blake," Kia breaths out behind her as she once again has to stop and wait for Blake to catch up. She rolls her eyes when she sees him bent over again. She starts back over to him when she sees he can't support himself anymore. She gets close enough and sees him flinching foward with two fingers clamped over his nose. She shivers when a wind causes dew to fall off the overhanging leaves.

"nxxt nxxt nxxt nhhhhh nxxxt nxxt nxxt nxxxx tcch." He pauses and draggs in air like he was drowning. Kia reaches out to steady him and starts smoothing his back.

" Hey, hey don't worry about stifling, No way am I letting you hunt like this," she mummers. He looks up at her with streaming eyes and looks so much like he's crying it breaks her heart

"Issh issh issh issssh isshoo isshoo issshoo." He was aiming the sneezes into his arm trying not to spray her.,

" Bless you," she wispers softly, but he hears her

Kia looks down at Blake. His mind was addled and he was fever stricken. She knew he didn't mean anything he said but it still hurt. She new she was a horrible person not capable of being loved. Hearing it from him was so much worse than hearing it from any of the foster parents she had ever had did. SHe looked down at him as she continued to smooth his brow with a wet towel.

" Blake, you don't have to keep stifling, I'm awake," she says wearly. He looks up at her tone, sneezes totally forgotten. Then they make him remember.

" tchoo ychoo tchoo issh ishh Issh Issh Issh Issh."

"Bless you." He looks up and into her eyes ,reading her soul, as she hands him a tissue.

" Thanks. So how bad was I?" Her eyes fill with tears as she remembers what he said and she turns away trying to blink them away. When they retreat, she turns back to face Blake.

" It wasn't too bad. Your fever got up there though."

" Why are you talking to me like you're a doctor?" HE jokes. SHe shakes her head.

"I was that bad?" SHe nods.

" What did I say Ishoo Ishoo?" He asks in a voice filled with horror.

" You sais I was a horrible person not capable of being loved," she says in a voice like glass, fragile and cutting. Blake swears out loud.

" I'm sorry, Kai, when I have a fever I say all sorts of stuff I don't mean. I'm sorry." He looked so fearful. THey were both glass she realized, broken but still cutting.

"Ish Issh Issh issh Issh"

" Bless you," she laughs.
