truth Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I've been on vacation for almost a week now, visiting my aunt, and today she took us to this theme park in the area. We actually didn't go into the area with rollercoasters at all, it's been around 100 degrees all day, so we decided to go to the waterpark. And boy, was that a good idea.Waiting in line for a water ride took about an hour, and everyone's in their swimsuits, and since its hot, they have these misters spraying water down on us, and it's rather cold. When I was in line for one ride, I noticed the guy ahead of me was pretty darn cute. He had what I want to say was the typical look for boys in the 50s, and blond hair. I would have said he was about 17/18, maybe 19, but he had a ring on his ring finger, so I'm not sure. Anyways, this guy is rubbing his nose a lot, and one of the girls he's with asks 'is it worse?' and he goes 'well, I really wish I'd taken you up on that sweatshirt offer now.' (or something similar to that). If I was to guess, I'd say he was sick, and the misters were making him feel worse, or that maybe the smoke in the area was bothering him? We were in line for an hour behind him though and no sneezes. Later, relaxing out on chaises, next to one of the wave pools, I got an even better obs. This woman, probably in her late 30s, with blond hair in a ponytail and glasses, starts sneezing like crazy. I wasn't going to say anything, but my aunt, who I was sitting with, comments 'I wish that lady would shut up, she's spreading her germs to all of us.' Of course, I wasn't going to say that they were probably from allergies, since they were coming so often, so I just kind of nodded. They were pretty forceful and sounded something like 'Ah'tchh'. I wasn't counting, but I'd say she sneezed 20 or so times, within 5 minutes. We were sitting on grass and there were trees with flowers around, so I think maybe she was allergic to something, but I'm not sure. All obs aside (and my clever title, thank you very much) I'd just like to say that it was hot as hell because I am a complainer.

Finally someone, who knows that colds typically don’t make you sneeze as much as people think, and certainly not as much as allergies.
