Anybody else reading The Walking Dead comic?

I love the AMC series, and I'm going to a convention in Sept so I decided to start reading the comic.

I knew that it would be different from the show, but I'm kind of disappointed. I'm only on issue #11. but I don't like the art style, and I think the dialogue is, at times, unnatural and choppy. Is this just me? Does it get better?

I haven't gotten that far into it either. Don't like it as much as the show and they're both so different even story-wise at this point. Not really a fan of the style either.
