Is there an easy, registration-free place for adult sneeze fetish chat or messages outside of this board? No offense to anyone, but I'm nervous about posting here as an adult (21+) when there are so many young and underage subscribers.

Nope. There's another forum, but U18s are allowed to post and chat on both forums. There's not any alternative exclusively for adults in the community.

This forum does have an Adult section which U18s are not allowed to view or contribute to. Unless I am mistaken, once you are Validated you can ask the staff to grant you access to the Adult section. I believe that messages and private chats (as opposed to chats happening in the main chat room) between two members who are both over 18 can also touch on adult topics. But yeah, in terms of wholly adult-only places I don't know of any.

There may be some possibilities but in the general boards we aren't allowed to link or direct to 18+ sites. The main two forums for the community are 13 and up for members.

Or.... there is always the option of starting up something if you don't see what you are looking for anywhere.

How in the universe's name can an easy, registration-free place (which therefore by definition is accessible by anyone, any time)

provide any extra safety from meeting young and underage over a moderated forum?

You'd better get access to the 18+ sections of one of the major forums and post your stuff there.

It's not impossible. There was a time when this forum didn't require registration. Then the Something Awful trolls came along like locusts and flooded the boards with Goatse pictures and the like along with their derogatory remarks regarding our fetish. This happened twice. There was a time when the forums we used didn't have registration, there were no user accounts, no sections, and every thread was piled onto the same pit. Such forums could be started again, I'm sure, but I have no desire to go back to those days. Without registration or accounts, it was also easy to impersonate another user and post inflammatory and/or bigoted remarks with their name and make them look bad, which happened a lot back in those days as well.

For those newbies who find the registration and validation process frustration, I hope these examples will begin to explain why this forum has those protocols in place.

I completely understand and sympathize with your position, but (and I understand that you're new, so you had no way to know this) this is a thing that's been hashed and rehashed (and rehashed and rehashed and rehashed), and it is almost certainly not going to change. I feel like your only real options are to contribute enough to be validated and allowed access to the adult boards, or if your discomfort is too great, seek greener pastures elsewhere.

Because there's no way to prove that the age someone lists in their profile is accurate, and without the vetting process the staff has only the word of a complete stranger that they really are the age they claim to be. If the adult boards weren't tied to the vetting process any thirteen year old could waltz in saying they were an adult and be immediately granted access to the adult boards, defeating the entire purpose of your concern. As it is, the validation process allows the staff to get to know members enough to make an educated judgement on whether the profile information they've provided is likely to be accurate or not and allow them access accordingly. And in the meantime, the general boards are restricted to content that isn't explicitly sexual so that while it may be uncomfortable, it's reasonably safe for all involved. Not that the discomfort isn't real and problematic, and there may well be a better way to handle the validation process and adult-minor interaction than the way it's done now, but I don't think allowing self-identified adults immediate access to the adult boards is it. The way things are now isn't perfect, but there are good reason for the way validation and adult board access is set up, and there are safeguards in place to try to make the general boards as safe as possible.

I believe there are some Yahoo! Groups that are 18+ only and don't require any validation beyond self-identifying to the group admin that you're a sneeze fetishist, and in some cases don't require any validation at all, but it's been a long time since I used any of them, and I have no idea how active they are these days. The other thing you can do, if you're comfortable with it, is put some kind of contact info in your profile and ask people to contact you that way, outside of the forum. You won't be able to see other people's profiles until your validated, but already vetted members can see yours and get in touch with you through any contact info you list there.

There are actually plenty of ways to both post and enjoy fetish-oriented content that do not emphasise the sexual aspect of it, or even make it explicit. (Good lord, if everything had to be explicitly sexual, I'd imagine that would make almost everyone uncomfortable.)

I suggest you take a good look around these here boards and take inspiration from the various ways people celebrate this fetish. Then you'll find you won't have to be uncomfortable, even though many of us are so young.

For probably most of us that is true, but there are people for whom it is inherently sexual explicit, so talking about it is like talking explicitly about the kind of sex they most enjoy having, among people they find uncomfortably young. There's no real solution for that other than "Don't post, I guess," basically, since things aren't going to change, but there are definitely people for whom it's sexual no matter what, and I understand why they'd be uncomfortable talking about it in view of people who are ostensibly young enough to be their kids.

There ARE places online to discuss your fetish in more sexual terms. Fuckyeahsneezes has shared one and there's a large online fetish community 18+ website that also has a small sneeze fetish community.

There are lots of members on here who engage in 18+ chat, RP, etc via private messages or once you get to know other members, many of us communicate off-forum as well with chat apps, Facebook, Skype, etc. The validation process allows other members to get to know you and feel more comfortable before you're invited to use the private messenger, chat, and adult forums.

One option you have is to include your personal instant messaging or email information in your profile and indicate "YES TO 18+ discussion". Then any validated members who are interested can contact you off-Forum for 18+ chat.
