This is one of my favorite, guilty pleasure tropes, albeit I usually see it with female characters. I think something about the loss of control ramped up to an environmental wide scale hits all my buttons. Thanks for the directory, and the rec on my Fables fic!

Destructive sneeze stories are amazing In fact some of the first fics I ever read online were ones about huge, destructive sneezes and this was part of discovering that other people also had the fetish as well. Something about the added danger of the chaos that will be caused by the sneeze adds to the story

Well, while people are posting links, gotta give a shout-out to the OG destructive sneeze story, which I printed out when I was a wee, wee fetishist first discovering the internet community (like I didn't even know the forum existed yet, and in fact it would have been in the pretty early days of the forum I think), and read roughly nineteen kabillion times:

Obviously this is one of my favorite fetish tropes, since I write about it like ALL the time. For me it's all about power and control, and the whole losing control aspect of it, when there's such an important reason that the sneezer HAS to hold back. Lots of drama. Also would encourage anyone whose into this trope to check out Garnet's drabble thread where there's more Fables super-sneezing goodness. Also an older gem that I think is a skyrim drabble about a woman whose sneezes bring on powerful shouts that wreck things. Also a big fan of the my-sneezing-made-me-lose-control-of-my-powers trope. Always a fun one.

I like these a lot too. But for me, I think there is a real balance. I like the stories best when they are just beyond the point of reality. So for example, breaking a window, or knocking over a desk or even being destructive within a room is great for my tastes. But usually blowing over neighborhoods, won king down walls, and uprooting trees (and things like that) are too much for me.

I do remember one of my absolute favorite stories from a long time ago (maybe it was on "Sneezy Girls" or "TOS") was about a scientist who shrink ray-ed himself and had a regular sized woman (who was huge to him) sneeze a big uncovered sneeze at him and his measuring instruments (so he could gather data, of course). Anyway, I think I loved it because it was a huge and destructive sneeze, but it felt like a realistic sneeze too (it was just destructive to a tiny person). So it had the amazing balance of "me being able to envision someone sneezing like that" but also "being huge and destructive." For me that is the killer combo. I'll try to go back and hunt down that story. I probably read it 100 times (about 15 years ago).

I'm on the fence about these. For one i love sneezing and I find it to be the sexist thing EVER, but when they are used for destruction it kind of turns me off.

They should be meant for pleasure not harm.
