cracked skull Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Last week, I was out of town at a seminar for work and happened to be sitting next to a sneezy stranger. I know very little about this person, because she truly was a stranger that happened to be in the same workshop I was in and happened to sit doen next to me.She seemed to be about 5'4'', mid 20's, long brown hair, glasses, and an accent, although I'm not sure where the accent was from. This particular workshop was 4 hours long and was in the evening. Admittedly, I was very tired as I had spent all day traveling in order to attend this seminar. I was struggling to stay awake after about 3 hours of lecture and hands on work when suddenly, the lady next to me sneezed 2 girly stifles in rapid succession. They sounded like ha-ump-choo with a very girly choo. I blessed her and she smiled shyly and thanked me. Well, if I was having trouble paying attention, I certianly was having a harder time now. She didn't sneeze again for about 5 minutes. The next sneeze was almost totally silent. I blessed her again and again, she thanked me. Another few minutes passed and again, another almost silent stifle followed by another silent stifle. The girl sitting next to her blessed her this time, and I saw her hand rub her nose out of the corner of my eye. She stifled silently again, and stood up to leave the room. She stifled yet again as she passed behind me, and I'm pretty sure I heard another stifle just before she exited the room. I'm assuming she left to blow her nose or to let the sneezes out. She was gone for about 5 minutes or so before returning to class. I saw her again throughout the week, but didn't see her sneeze again. There were no more sneezes from her, but it certainly made the last hour of workshop fly by.
