the fire drill (m)

okay so I'm new and I wrote this as a one shot but I guess I can continue if anyone likes it. it's a bit intimidating because there is such good writing here that I feel like I just shouldn't try but I figu what the hay may as well put it somewhere. so I hope you enjoy.

Writing class had been dragging on. My teacher had been talking about the fire drill for about 30 minutes.

ugh it's not that hard I thought in my head. I was ready for the drill to be over. The pollen count was higher than it had been all week and the grass was freshly mowed. my allergies wouldn't like this.

suddenly the red boxes on the walls started to shriek and my teacher ushered us out of the room saying no talking. as I walked outside I immediately felt a slight tickle in the back of my nose. I roughly rubbed it with the back of my wrist hoping the tickle would cease.

as we filed out and stood on the fragrant grass the students began to stay quiet. I felt the tickle grow and I pressed a knuckle under my dripping nose. hih heehhh HUH I pinched my nose and refused to sneeze. my nose was tickling so badly and my breath was hitching wildly so I then let go off nose and ducked into my elbow.

iihchooo! ihnuxh! nxt! It hurt to stile so I let them out. IHSHOO ITCHII ECTSHOO IIIICHU

ugh the bell s rang again and we began walking to the classroom again my friend put a hand on my shoulder and handed me a tissue. tchu! I sneezed one last itchy sneeze and sat back down, thoroughly embarrassed.
