Hey guys! It's been some time since I last wrote a story. This is going to be somewhat of a shonen ai(boy love) story so... ya.

on with the story

Its been a month since I found my new 'roommate'. I found him shivering out in the cold snowy weather on my way back from college. Its still so surprising, he's only been with me for a month, yet I feel like I've known him all my life, but he's hiding something from me.

I know it.

"Mmrow, Ryan what are you thinking about?" He looked at me curiously, it looked like Alex had woken up from his cat nap. I didn't want him to know what I was thinking about so I just decided to toy with him a little," Finally awake? I thought you'd never wake up Alex,"

He then gave me an glare with his red eyes and replied " You were probably thinking about you're obsessive perfectionist of an aunt weren't you?"

If I had everything my way, I would be able to get Alex and Aunt Madison to actually like each other. You could say he was over reacting when he said obsessive perfectionist, but he was right. Aunt Maddie had an OCD that made her want everything to be perfect, If it isn't which everything never is, she'll shout and scream about the importance of perfect conditions and that everything has to be perfect. I personally would mind if she got laryngitis, and I highly doubt most people anyone else would either. The last time she visited was two weeks ago and she went ranting off on poor Alex. Long story short, he brought his claws out and nearly scratched her arm.

"Don't worry," I stroked his black and dirty blonde hair and kitty ears " I'd rather forget Aunt Maddie than remember her,"

Speaking of the devil, the phone rang as soon as I finished my sentence, I sighed when I saw the caller ID, Alex looked and started shaking his head and moving his hands in 'no don't do it' motions. I rolled my eyes and picked up the phone, Alex then proceeded to face palm.

"Hey Aunt Maddie! How're you doing," I greeted cheerfully.

"Madison, my name is Madison, Ryan! Anyway have you gotten rid of that mangy street cat yet? I'm coming over tomorrow,"

I felt my face heat up in anger. Alex was not a mangy street cat.

"No," I answered in defiance "I haven't and I won't anytime soon,"

"Since I'm coming over, make sure you get Stargazer Lilies from Bows and Bouquets, they must be the most perfect ones in the store, see you"

With that she hung up.

I sighed,got up and stroked Alex's ears and said, "I'll be back soon," he looked at me with his ears in my direction, so I must have piqued his interest. "She'll be coming, tomorrow,"

His ears then flattened against his head as he growled and sulked to himself. He could be so adorable sometimes.

I then left the house and started to go in the direction of Bows and Bouquets.

Fifteen minutes, the store took a surprisingly fast response as soon as I said Mrs. Madison Orlando, apparently they had been 'less than perfect' before. I opened the door and Alex turned towards me and went back to whatever the heck he was doing. I set the flowers in a vase, then went to the kitchen to see what he was doing.

"Alex, what are you doing?"

"Mmmrroww, You weren't supposed to see yet, you know you ruin a lot of surprises Ryan," he complained. Alex was making...black and white cookies? He tried to surprise me with something sweet. I now regretted coming into the kitchen.

"But, since you're here now take one, I'm finished anyway," Alex then left the kitchen, leaving me and a bunch of cookies alone. I took one and it was pretty darn good. Then I felt a piece of paper in my mouth. It read 'I love you Ryan'.

'he loves me?'

Before I could further contemplate my situation I heard a yowl. Swiftly exiting the kitchen and entering the dining room, I found Alex sitting on the ground, looking like he was panting then I realized what was happening. His head started to tilt back,

"hih, hih, heh HH' GSsshu, esh, esh, nggt"

I didn't get it though, what could have caused him to be sneezing like that?

hey m'back sorry for the wait.

"Hih'ISHOO,"

Alex stopped sneezing for the first time in 6 minutes, but why,why was he,

"Ryan," he started shakily,"Are those Stargazer Lilies?"

"Y-yes,they are," I had stuttered out my answer,I mean what if they were stargazer lillies? That didn't mean anything right? I was starting to get scared, Alex had just did something so sweet and now he was suffering, the poor thing.

"I'm allergic to them," he said and started to get off the floor. I helped him up, I felt so guilty.

"What exactly are you doing with those anyway? Alex inquired,"Mmmrrrooowww, RRRyyyaann answer meee,"

He pouted and started poking my cheek when I didn't answer immediately. Such a weird cat, cute but weird.

"I got them from Bows and Bouquets, Auntie Maddie is coming over tomorrow. She first asked if you were here and then asked me to get them..."

I stopped after I noticed him thrashing his tail back and forth,had his cat ears flattend against his head and he started hissing. My phone rang. Alex glared at it. I picked it up and,

"Ryan, never mind me coming tomorrow, I decided it would be better to come today make sure you have the flowers,goodbye"

I put the phone down and make a mental note to block Aunt Maddie's phone number,I really don't want to break the news to him.

"Alex,she's coming,now,"

He now looks as if he could kill.
