Life as a Pirate

hey guys me again and it's pirate time! No seriously my muse wouldn't stop bugging me about this, so yeah. No boy love this time.

It started some time ago, about 6 weeks since we signed a priviteer contract with the Diamond pirates. Unlike the typical pirate stereotype, they were a well groomed bunch looking like gentry and ladies except for the fact that the girls were wearing pants. I was looking for the captain and wasn't I surprised when I saw a beautiful looking lady coming up out of the shadows and claiming to be captain. She curtsied and two other people one girl and one boy,both looking about my age came up behind her.The girl curtsied and the boy bowed. They seemed well mannered too. My father spoke up.

"Are you lot the band of pirates that saved and fed 20 women and children from other pirates and brought them back to France?"

The beautiful lady smiled and removed her hat,"Yes sire, we were carrying out a raid on those rookie lowscale sea rats,and I saw those poor women and children, I pitied them and took them aboard my ship. Anyway you're beatin' round the bush,so let's get down to buisness shall we?" said the Lady captain.

I then took my eyes off the lady captain and placed them on the boy. I stopped paying attention to the conversation once I noticed how beautiful the boy was. He had silvery white hair and beautifully clear violet eyes,like amethysts. He looked like he was dreadfully bored as he looked around the building. Soon his eyes met mine, I looked away and looked at the girl beside him, she had long black hair like the lady captain but instead of violet eyes she had red ones, beautiful. I heard the end of the contract being signed and my mother glowering in disagreement. The captain told the younger pirates to go to the garden with a swift jerk of her head to the right. They followed the unspoken order. My father told me to do the same whispering into my ear. I did.

"Cerise, do you think it was wise of Mother to sign that silly priviteer contract?" the beautiful boy said. I hid around the corner.

"Daniel, we've been over this before, Mother is doing this to help the poor in the streets,"

'A pirate wanting to help the poor?'

"I know, but I don't trust politicians or the nobles they're blatant liars the lot of 'em,"

I gasped,did he think so lowly of us?

He must have heard me because his eyes looked around at the column I was hiding behind.

"I thought the nobles knew that spying on people was considered rude," Daniel said.

I hung my head and came from behind my hiding space. I felt so ashamed, he gave me a rather obvious look over.

"So you're the Count's daughter?"

The conversation that followed begun our relationship as friends.
