RinTinTin Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Guys, I'd like to know what you think about this. Give a look at this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qopKzR7NDts, It's an old Italian comedy film from the 80's. In the scene from 22:30, the actress seems to struggle with an itchy nose and then possibly stifles a sneeze. Very quietly - possibly even too much. Do you reckon this could be a sneeze after all?
Chanel_no5 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Yeah, I'd say it is. She fought it a bit too well though.
Joal 555 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 To me it looks a little bit more like a yawn, but because it immediately follows some nose rubbing we instinctively think it might be a sneeze.Of course, it could indeed be a sneeze, but if you look at her mouth after she removes her hand, it looks like the end of a yawn to me.
Blah!? Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I can't say for sure one way or the other. Given that there was absolutely no sound at all, unfortunately I feel like it was probably a yawn. If it was actually a sneeze, I feel like it was more likely an almost sneeze than a stifled one. I wouldn't have much trouble believing she was about to sneeze but put her hand over her face and held it in. Even if it wasn't a sneeze though, at least the nose rubbing was cute.
