Coworker's Unilateral Leakiness (F)

A few days ago I was, again, working reception. I don't love it, but it seems to be prime locale for fetish-type observations, so? Not complaining that much.

The cardiology tech approached the front desk a few times to steal tissues, which I definitely had an eye out for, but didn't comment on. We have boxes of tissues in every exam room and then some for grieving clients and the like, so I have to wonder how many of those she scavenged as well. On her third or so trip, she scrunched her nose and lamented, "I have one runny nostril, it's so bizarre."

She's tall, lean, and blonde, but un-made-up. She strikes me as very down to earth. She has a small jeweled stud in one nostril, and the faded dregs of an accent that I thiiink is Australian?

Watching her blot the affected nostril, I mused, "At least it's not the side with the piercing?"

She laughed aloud and said, "True! True story!" And then wandered off, still dabbing.

This would entirely be enough to delight me, but a few hours later, I watched her sweep between appointments and pause in the hall, a wrist to her nose. She hesitated for a second, then convulsa-flinched with an nearly entirely contained sneeze. No sound to speak of, at least not from a distance, but still.

I don't think I've ever thought of a soundless sneeze as being quite so appealing as this one sounds!
