Cold Getting Sneezy (self obs, F)

I've had a cold for a couple days, but until last night/this morning it hasn't been particularly sneezy. That appears to have changed.

It started out with two days of a pretty sore throat and then a runny/drippy nose and the beginnings of congestion joined the party.

Last night I started with some fairly frequent single and doubles with snotty blows.

This morning I woke up with the cold in all it's glory. As soon as I sat up I immediately had to blow into three tissues to try and clear my nose. I sniffed a couple times and had to grab my handkerchief in time to catch a double HASCHOOOOO! HASCHOOOOOO!

I had felt feverish last night but with the heat we have been having figured it was that, but am running a 100 degree fever right now.

Sneezes are coming every few minutes as everything is setting my nose off now. With every sneeze comes a blow so my nose is tinged pretty pink right now.

Thanks, everyone. Sadly, today is another sneezy, stuffed up day and HAVE to be at work. Bound to be something worth sharing later!

Struggled through work today, but now have two days to try and kick this thing. Have to go into work and you know...actually work was not fun.

In other parts of the building where I work it is considerably colder the Cubical City where our desks are located. While I was chilled in those areas it made it worse when I would come down to my desk. It was an automatic go into our office area and head the restroom so I could blow my nose and try and clear it. About halfway through the day that became a somewhat moot point when the congestion won out and fine even a decongestant isn't helping all that much.

The coldest parts of our building would set off a sneeze (or two). With the congestion in my nose/sinuses they came out as harsh HASCHOOOOOO! HUCHOOOOO! sounding sneezes followed by a pretty snotty blow that would clear my nose for a few minutes.

Got off work and couldn't wait to get to the car. Was stopped by three people trying to get out the door and told them I doubted they wanted me near them in this state and actually had to sneeze during one of those interactions. No phobia, but was so glad I had anti-viral tissues with me.

Made the drive home needing to pull over once to sneeze and blow my nose. Had one sneeze take me by surprise and ended up sneezing into my hand.

This was with some cold meds. They don't always work well. But had to take non-drowsy!
