Light
So I have noticed something since developing this "interest" we all share. It is harder for me to sneeze. Not that I am shy about it but I think I think about it to much and it goes away. I can't seem to help it and if a sneeze has any build up it always seems to fade. ? You can see my frustration. Am I the only one with this problem? Link to comment
LapidotLover22
No, I've always had this problem. Even before I figured out the whole fetish thing. But for me at least, it has nothing to do with thinking. My nose is just very sneeze resistant. I'd say for every sneeze I get, I have to endure at least six unsatisfied tickles. Link to comment
TwinklingStars053
No, you are not the only one. Ever since I officially stopped denying myself from this fetish I've been having that problem. I have to force my sneezes out most of the time, I only sneeze the natural way every now and then. I, too, wonder if it's because I'm thinking about sneezing too much. Even after I sneeze, within a few minutes (at least) I'll feel another tickle again. If I sneezed everytime my nose tickled, I would sneeze roughly around ten times a day. It's worse when I actually make my pre-sneeze face only for the sneeze to go away. It is frustrating Link to comment
Sitruuna
I've only recently learned to more relaxed about it and only if I'm in a private place with no one (except R.L) to hear, lol. So... yes? Though I don't see it as a bad thing. I've never wanted to sneeze or do anything "related" in front of people anyway so it's good. Easier to control these things when not doing it is the automatic reaction. Link to comment
Morningsmith
I may totally be the exception here, but I sometimes think that I get more sneezy rather than less when I have sneezing on the brain. I don't think having people around has much effect on it, except in terms of embarrassment (sometimes delicious embarrassment) afterwards. Link to comment
HoneyBunny
I have had a huge mental block ever since my fetish really started. It's not like I don't get the sneezing reflex anymore, but I just can't let it out. I will always get a really long awkward buildup which I usually try to pass off as a yawn, and then when I'm right on the verge of sneezing, like already taking a big gasping breath, the tickle will simply vanish. Over time I have learned to tell that a long-ish buildup will almost never lead to a sneeze, as almost all of my actual sneezes have little to no buildup. It's so annoying though, like, if I already know I'm not gonna sneeze, why do I have to have the stupid buildup? cally
I haven't had a natural sneeze in well over a year and a half now, probably closer to 2 years. I hardly get the urge anymore. It's really frustrating b/c I am terrified that it's b/c of years of inducing, and it isn't like there are studies on these kinds of things. I even went as so far to bring this up to my GP and she was like ummmm ok, but it's not really a thing to worry about. I worry about it, all the same. Link to comment
Geneticist
Ooft I have had a mental block as far as I can remember! Think I've suppressed it so long that I have a natural, non-cold related sneeze only maybe two or three times a year... Link to comment
BananaTree
No but I pay attention to my sneezes more and my need to do them. I also can coax them out a bit better now lol Link to comment
daystar428
Over the first period of time of joining this community and super focusing on my fetish I found that I would over analyze any tickle or sneezy feeling. I was also feeling g super shy due to recently having a clear association between the act of sneezing which I had always found overly interesting now much more thrilling.About five or so years later, I guess I began to get more accustomed to the fetish and stopped having issues with sneezing, but only was able to stifle in public. Now, five to ten years after that I just sneeze freely or covered depending on the situation if the feeling arises even if its multiples. So, my mental block was definitely related to time and maybe even partially my acceptance of my fetish. The latter which has been assisted by having a great partner who in turn accepts and encourages my fetish both in enjoying him and others sneeze as well as liking to sneeze myself. Link to comment
