Allergic to fans? Lol

So, I'm going to post my obs from the other night but first I'm going to go into some explanation.

I seem to always sneeze when sitting in front of fans! It's the funniest thing! (My husband has even picked up on this!) I don't know what causes it, even clean fans cause it, so it's not like it's dust.

Anyways, the other night, I woke up to my face soaking wet and my nose tickling SO bad it was almost painful. I had already sneezed in my sleep at least once (which I heard people can't sneeze in their sleep?) my husband was asleep next to me so I had to keep quiet and not wake him. The tickle was so intense, my nostrils flared really wide and wiggled up and down, my eyes tearing up heavily, and my mouth slightly open... I quickly pinched my nose because there was no way I could stifle without pinching my nose, it was too messy! Heh-nxxtch. *sniffle* heh.. Eh.. Nxxtchew. *sniffle* I turn away from the fan, realizing that it was facing our pillows where we were sleeping (we sleep with a fan at night), grabbed a tissue off of the entertainment center next to the bed and quietly wiped my nose. (I couldn't blow cuz I'd wake up my husband) I pinched my nose in the tissues this time, and had a fit of 6 stifles, with looong extremely breathy build ups in between, and my husband waking up on the last one and in a half asleep voice blessed me. <3

I'm a big fan of your sneezes... :glare:

Perhaps it's just the circulation of air in close proximity to your nose, that causes it.

Anyway, thanks for posting about this!

Maybe its due to the air flow having a drying effect on the sinuses which causes sneezing - I have heard air conditioners can make people sneeze for the same reason.

Either way, if it leads to great obs to write about like this, I say fan away :D
