I can't stop shaking. I had such an awkward situation right now.

Okay, so since I live alone and don't really allow people in (I need my home to be a safe place), I'm pretty lax with fetish stuff. When suddenly my mom came to visit. She does every now and then, and she always calls beforehand so I have time to put the most compromising dirty stuff away.

Yeah, not today, she didn't. Suddenly the door bell rang. I thought it was the mailman, so I just left all the tabs and shit open and went to get the door.

There was my mom, asking if she could borrow my computer for a couple of minutes to do some Internet errands.

I nearly broke my neck rushing to the computer and turned off the Youtube video first. Thank God for headphones, am I right? Phew. Then I closed down the forum tab just as she came up behind me. AND THEN THE DAMN WORD DOCUMENT REFUSED TO CLOSE! I was praying her eyesight is bad enough that she couldn't make out words from that distance without her glasses, but I'm not sure. Eventually the dangerous "Naughty fetish stuff" document - which was focusing on a lesbian bondage-including-sneezing scene featuring the lady in my signature and her boss - decided to close down. By then my mom had realised it took some time for me to close things down, so she sat down at the couch to wait. On the table in front of her was an open writing pad with a different scenario, and a whole sneezing fit spelled out. I don't think she read that one, but I felt I was getting closer and closer to a heartattack, when eventually I called out "okay, I've closed the things I had open," - ONLY TO REALISE THAT THE BACKGROUND IS SHOWING A WOMAN IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUILDUP! For the love of GOD! I managed to get a fresh Firefox tab up before she saw it - I think - and after that my bad luck seemed to withdraw. I quietly closed the writing pad and sat down on the couch and died a little inside.

I'm fucking 30 years old and this event made me feel like I was 14 all over again. Ugh. I don't think she saw anything though, because she didn't look too suspicious, but you'll never know, because she wouldn't say anything.

I need to be more careful, even when I'm on fetish high. Seriously. That was way too close for comfort. Damnit.

Had something I writing open, thankfully nothing obvious, the first page just looks like a regular fict. I didn't realize I still had it open when hubby went to use the computer. Thankfully I had something else open over it. He's not one to look into my stuff so I'm hoping he just switched to his side of the computer.

But I when I switched to my side again I saw it was open and let out a giant curse word.

But I've just had my daily phone conversation with her, and she didn't sound odd at all, so I suppose all is well. PHEW!

Oh God, what memories this brings. I got caught when I was like 10 or so. Sort of. Though not by my parents. A friend of mine was having a sleepover with me and I thought she was asleep. I was watching one of those fetish videos you find here and there on youtube on my laptop. Out of nowhere she casually looks over my shoulder at my screen and asks "What are you watching?" and I jumped and scrambled away from her a little bit. Who knows how long she was able to look over my shoulder at the screen before she even spoke. I really was praying she hadn't seen anything too weird that could make my fetish obvious, since she wasn't the kind of person who was good at keeping secrets. She was a little judgmental in my opinion too, which just gave me another reason to be terrified of her obtaining knowledge of my fetish. Haha, I feel ya! For about a year, between moving houses with the family and my move to my own apartment, the only computer with Internet connection was in my mother's bedroom. Can you even imagine the awkwardness? I had my own computer in my room though, but the family computer was an ancient relic with floppy disk and NO USB, meaning my only means of getting .wavs so I could enjoy them in my own room, was by waiting until nobody was at home, then record the recording with my mp3-player, and then transfer the crappy recording to my own computer.

I only did this when my sister was at sleepovers and my mom was out mowing the lawn (so I heard when she stopped and I had enough time to close stuff down). It was SO ANNOYING. I can't even imagine having to suffer through a situation like that now. Family is great, but not mixed with these things. Ew.
