My own stupidity=glorious sneezing fit (self obs) (first post?)

Alright, so this is my first real post here and to be completely honest I don't know if there's some sort of quota or guidelines I need to follow to post on here....but I digress. I've had an account for a bit now, and I've encountered a lot of things that I think someone might enjoy (I know I have), but I've always been sort of scared to post...anyway, what better time than now, I guess?

Anyway, about 30 minutes ago, I was washing my face, getting ready for bed, etc. etc. Meanwhile, I was writing some random sneezefic in my head (you know, how you do)......so of course, my nose starts itching as well. Not really thinking, I reach up and rub my nose with my hand, hoping to somewhat satisfy the itch.

Boy was I wrong.

You see, the face wash that I was using was this really poignant face wash that almost smells like peppermint and sort of tingles and even burns a bit when you rub it into your skin....

Just like I had done to my nose a few seconds ago, with my hand slathered in this stuff.

Anywho, this stuff somehow worked its way into my nose, and immediately my eyes start to water. My nose is tingling, itching, burning, whatever else you could think of, and I'm just standing there gasping like an idiot for breathe because of all the different things I was feeling, and by this part I started hitching. So, with my nose basically giving me the tease show of the year, my instinct is to rub it, right?

Right.

I, the idiot that I am, reach up WITH MY OTHER HAND (also covered in my face wash) and rub the inside of my nostrils where the itching mainly was.

So, now I've got this unfathomable itch climbing into my sinuse cavities and my eyes and nose are running like a faucet, and I feel like I'm never going to find an end to this itch. But, by some glorious power, I finally sneeze. And sneeze. And sneeze.

Now, I don't think I've ever sneezed more than twice in a row, but I must have sneezed at least 8 times after this incident. They sort of sounded the same as my regular sneezes, which is like "hehhtISHoo!" But I don't ever really hitch (on my own) so this was sort of new. They all made me bend at the waist, truly, and because I was desperate and trying not to die/wakeup my family I just smothered my face in the towel I was using.

Anyway, it's been about a half an hour now since I've stop sneezing (even after the fit, I was still sneezing here and there) and my eyes are still running and red and my nose is completely blocked up. Writing this now makes my nose itch a bit, and honestly I'm so tired I don't know if I could take another fit (pathetic, right?)

So...yeah. Think before you rub kids ?
