Caught a cold (self+boyfriend-obs)

Over the holidays my boyfriend caught a really sneezy cold. Lots of congested sniffles, nose blowing, and adorable sneezes. Every 15 minutes or so he would pause whatever he was doing to find a light source to look at so that he could sneeze. He'd have a sneezy expression for a few seconds before sneezing a wet and drawn out "EKKSHHHEWww!", usually into his shirt or a tissue if he could get one in time. His sneezes are pretty loud and a couple times they've startled me so sometimes he'd try to announce his sneeze before it happened, sort of like "I'm g-gonna s- EEIITCHHEWw!" It was really adorable!

Unfortunately a few days ago, as my boyfriend was starting to feel better, I came down with his cold. My family came to visit over the holidays and so far its been me holding back and stifling sneezes and trying to subtly wipe my red drippy nose. I'm pretty awful at hiding colds because my nose always gives me away, so there's a good chance that my family notices. Today I was stuck in a car with them for a while and had to stifle sneezes into my boyfriend's shoulder. He's really caring and good about that kind of thing. I'm hoping that I can go the rest of the time without any comments on the fact that I'm sick.

I totally feel you. I have somewhat of a cold myself and since I'm visiting my family over the holidays, it's been pretty difficult not to sound totally congested, not sneeze, ect. Hope you feel better!

Aww bless him and you! Geez, how did you catch his cold if he always covered his mouth?

Ohh, poor you. Being ill around my family is one of my worst nightmares. So incredibly awkward. I hope you feel better soon.
