Male Caught a cold (male classmate)

So in my physics class in school (about 2 or 3 weeks ago) there's this boy, let's just call him M, I have a secret crush on him and I'm too scared to ask him out . Almost everyday he sneezes in that class, I don't know if it's allergies or he's just generally a sneezy person but I sit right BESIDE him everyday for and hour. Ugh it's so hard.

So anyway he's super cute and I was sitting in class (it was our double period class so it was 2 hours of fun with him) before most people, as I was a bit earlier arriving to class, and I was sitting waiting on him coming in and he walked in coughing ahh! I didn't get ahead of myself and thought maybe it was just something in the air because it was just a quick cough and nothing else.

Then about 10 minutes into the class he sneezed TWO stifled sneezes with a slight gasp/built up like "heh-HNXT!HNXT!" (I was so surprised by it I forgot to bless him! I was so annoyed) And then he sniffles for about 30 seconds then blows his cute little nose. All the while I'm trying not to jump out of my skin. He then coughs some more and we go back to our work.

Then when we were doing questions about 20 minutes after the first set of sneezes, I was talking to my friend who sits infront of me, (he was kind of part of the conversation but not at the same time) so when she asked him something and he didn't answer so I looked around to him and he was sitting with a pre-sneeze face, and quickly before he sneeze said "Sorry I hav- HNXT! HNXT! Heh'eshoo" HE TRIED TO SAY HE HAD TO SNEEZE BUT COULDN'T GET IT OUT IN TIME!! Plus he always sneezes stifled into his elbow but he couldn't contain this one. But this time I was more prepared and actually managed to say bless you and ask him if he was okay to which he replied "Thanks, ugh I don't know what's wrong with me I've been sneezing all day" and the was congestion in his voice as well! Just after that he took out a tissue again (from his bag) and blew his nose.

He spent the most part of the next 30 minutes to an hour and blowing his nose with some coughing, but there was around another 4 sets of double stifled sneezing.

Nearing the end of the double period he had a fit and it went like this, "heh..HNXT!HNXT!..snf. HNXT!Heh'eshoo! Heh'eshoo! HEH'ESHOO!..snff..snf. HEH'ESHOO! ESHOO!ESHOO! NXT!NXTNXT!..snf. (He directed them all into his elbow then the last 3 stifled he pinched his nose) He actually lost control! It was amazing I was in awe but I had to act normal incase anyone suspected anything but I think my face went like a tomato, but nobody said anything I think they were focused on M. He then asked to be excused and left to go the the bathroom and came back with his nose really red and chapped looking. Awe poor baby

It was the best physics class I had ever had but I felt sorry for him, he must've felt like crap I really just wanted to cuddle him and make him feel better.

Poor kid, but I would have loved to be in a similar situation....

AAAGGHH I know I' being silly but I'm just scared incase somebody catches on. I know how stupid that sounds but I really nervous around him already never mind asking something like that!

Wow, dang. That must have had you undone.

Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it a LOT. (Yes yes, we're all very evil, aren't we.) 

Also, "damn, you have allergies or something?" is a perfectly normal, innocuous question for you to ask after this kind of thing happens again, especially if you sit right the bleep next to the guy. No one will think anything of it, and he'll be operating on half a brain anyway.  If you do ask, tell us how it went!

Oh how I wish I was in your class to see this, though I probably would've gone completely red at his last fit and tried to act real calm but fail horribly. Please do tell us how it goes if you ask about allergies. Also, he does sound very cute, and I'd love a cute sneezy guy like that any day  You sure are very lucky to sit right next to him each day when he's sneezing a lot!

I decided to take your advice and man up and ask.

 

This was around a week ago.

We have mock exams going on in school and we are on study leave at the moment so I've not been speaking to him that often, but he needed help on part of the course and I was studying it so we FaceTimed and we got off track.

 

So we were just talking and he all of a sudden went "Excuse me--HNXT!HNXT" into his elbow and I blessed him, but he continued the conversation before I could ask anything, and not even 10 minutes after he sneeze again a quick double, stifled as before.

 

Then again about 5 minutes after but it took him by surprise and he couldn't fully stifle it, "Heh'heshoo! Eshoo! HNXT!" I blessed him again.

 

This time I actually asked him, I said "Your sneezing quite a lot, you okay?" And he replied with "Yeah I'm fine, sisters just got new perfume and it's making me sneeze."

 

"Aw so you allergic to it?" I asked. And he said "Yeh, I'm allergic to a few perfumes."

 

Ugh I should have known! Our teacher had been teaching her other class about lasers that day and she was spraying perfume in the class to get the light to reflect off it so the class was smelling of perfume that day.

 

But also I wear perfume to school and so does quite a few other girls in my class, so that may be why he sneezes almost every time we are in that class!

And so we carried on talking and doing some stuff for our exams, he also sneezed a few more times and I blessed him.

 

I can't believe how easy it was and he never even suspected anything.
