Sinus infection

I have had a cold that started in earnest on New Year's Eve, but apart from the odd few sneezes it has been a pretty boring one - mostly involving congestion and a lot of throat clearing.

However yesterday it started it's migration into my sinuses and today my nose has been burning and really itchy. Earlier I managed to have a brilliant sneezing fit of 5 wet and intense sneezes. They sounded something like Eeeeeshheewww. I could barely breathe between them. Perhaps I will enjoy some more fits while my nose is so irritated ? Here's hoping!

Oh god, sinus infections suck! I had two last year. I'm sorry you have one, but I always appreciate the obs! ?

Bless you!  If the infection doesn't clear up, you really should go to the doctor's for some antibiotics.  I say this because I know how awful sinus infections can be; I've had three in the last two years.

Thank you - I too have had several in the past couple of years but the pain and pressure has been quite mild this time so think it might be a mild one (or just blocked sinuses-no infection).
