iluvemojis Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 I was at McDonald's with friends when one of them sneeze and then a whole convo bloomed.... Friends descriptions: "A": M. mid-twenties, tall and blond. "B" M. early twenties, dark hair, short "C" M. early thirties, dark hair, beard. "D" M. Late teens, dark hair. Here's pretty much what happened. A: *sneezes a crazy amount of times, rapid fire* B: Whoa, what was that, like fifty sneezes? I sneeze like that I guess, but not all at once. D: That's like me. People know better than to say bless you until I'm done. C: Yeah, my sister is like that. She always sneezes three times in a row. A: *sneezes a few times again, still rapid fire* B: Bless you! I don't think anybody sneezes, like, only once. I half wanted to chime in and say that I do, but I probably couldn't have even gotten the words out. It was AWKWARD for me.
iluvemojis Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 Something similar to this happened with the guys "B" and "D". We were talking about which of the seven dwarfs we would be and I was like "I'd be sleepy." And D was like "you'd be grouchy" and then B says "I'm Sneezy!" And then pretends to sneeze as loud as he can, and we laughed.
LapidotLover22 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) I would've been able to say that I only sneeze once if this had happened to me for two reasons. One, it's true, and I'm an honest person bc for most things in my life, I just don't care enough to see any amount of necessity in lying. And two, I'm very aware of the fact that at least 80% of the world doesn't even know that sneezing can be a fetish (meanwhile 40%-60% of the world doesn't even know what a fetish is due to age or environment [i.e. vanillas, kids, elders, amish, third world]), so unless I make it obvious I'm turned on or unconfortable, or talk about it often, other people aren't going to suspect if I join in on a conversation about sneezing. And if they do find anything about my behaviour strange, odds are they'll assume I'm a germaphobe. Knowing this makes my life much easier, and I hope it helps you, too.
