Hello, 2017 (V-warning)

Happy New Year Everyone!  It has not been a happy new year for me.  I have been sick with the flu since the day after New years. I think I caught it at a new years eve party.  My fever was 103.2.  I was running to the bathroom to vomit every so often in the beginning.  I am glad that I am done with this flu.  This is no fun being this sick.  I started to experience shortness of breath about 4 days into my illness.  I went to the emergency room, where I got some antiviral drugs.  Thank heavens for the neighbors who paid my rent and utilities.
