First cold in 8 years

The last time I had a cold was Christmas of 2010. 4 days ago I got hit with a scratchy throat that morphed to a sore one. I coughed a little but nothing major until yesterday. I was just walking down the stairs and suddenly my right nostril tickled and in seconds I sneezed. "Heh - izzsshuu!" Pretty rare for me to sneeze so instantly after a tickle. From that sneeze on I have gotten worse.

These sneezes come on suddenly and forcefully, mostly from the right side. If I let go and close my mouth, which I can do, the snot EXPLODES out of my face and I'm blowing for minutes on end. Otherwise I have no dripping and only slight congestion. My throat is sore and bruised and now I have a thick husky voice...which is kinda sexy imo.

I'm sneezing today about once every thirty minutes which is a lot for me when I usually sneeze once a day. My nostrils are burning and itching and just have that faint tickle when I breathe which just drives me nuts. I'm sniffling a lot too. And when I do sneeze it wracks my throat...

I will say my bf is comforting me and I'm getting off on that, so I definitely have the comfort thing  And he told me he wouldn't mind getting sick for me and that he can't sneeze when he is sick but sneezes when he is starting to get better from being sick. Weird

lol typed the wrong number. 6 not 8 years. Oh well.

Today I have that yucky taste in your nose so I can't taste any of my food. Too bad there aren't any brussel sprouts for me to try! Major congestion to the point where I soubd like an ibiot whenb I talk.

Noto too many sneezes but a few minutes ago I got sick and tired of the congestion and induced twice. Big exploding sneezes. "HIT-IZZZCHUUU!!" Lots of snot and blowing afterward and then I could breathe! For five minutes until I sat down again.

HOWEVER an interesting thing happened. I texted my bf that I did it and he does not know I have the fetish and he responded with " lol I love to sneeze."

 I said "You do?" Hoping against all hope.

He took a while to respond then said, "Sometimes."

That short response told me to shut up. If he is closeted like me, I won't push it.  

Anyway I am fully congested again now and my nose is pink with chapped nostrils. Owie

Now my mom has it and is sneezing way more than I did. And she goes in fits of 3 and 4
