Woken with a Sneeze

One of my boyfriends has a cold. He has been having long sneezing fits. We went to the pub the other night and one of these fits took him by surprise and he failed to get his tissue to his nose in time to cover the first couple of sneezes. My throat felt a bit scratchy yesterday but I tried to ignore and deny it. When he came home this morning I was laying in bed soaked and shivering. I roused slightly as he got into bed with me and my first action of today was a big sneeze which woke me up properly. My nose was running so I fumbled for a tissue from my bedside table. I found myself to be a bit stuffed up so my nose blow had a distinct honk to it. I have spent the day preparing to feel worse tomorrow, laying in supplies of medicine and ingredients for hot toddies. Tonight I have a thumping headache and a quite obvious fever to go with the now undeniably sore throat and runny nose. I had a text from my other boyfriend earlier this evening saying he was coming down with lurgy too so that couple of uncovered sneezes did a good job for the viruses and infected us both. I want to sleep now but my nose is so itchy and I'm sweating buckets. I can't get comfortable at all and now I need to blow my nose again so goodnight.
