remmyrose Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 For the past few weeks, it's seemed like everyone in my office has had a cold. Not many had really caught my attention as I've been quite busy and my personal office is in a sort of secluded area--that is, until the girl with the office across from mine came back from her Christmas holiday. Two days after Christmas, I arrived at work and immediately went to the kitchen to put my lunch in the fridge and make some coffee. As I was waiting for my coffee to brew from the machine, the girl who has the office across the hall from me, C, walked in. C is very slim, about 5'3" with medium length brown hair and a small pointed nose. I said hello to her, and she quickly said hi back before grabbing a napkin and blowing her nose. I didn't think much of it, grabbing my coffee cup and preparing to walk away, when I saw her reach for a handful of napkins to bring back to her office. This peaked my interest, as did the coughs I heard from her as she walked away. I was pretty busy at work, and usually work with my headphones in, but about an hour later I heard a rapid fire series of sneezes hischeww ischeww hischeww hischeww ischew hischeww ISCHeww!--soft but wet. I had kind of forgotten about seeing C earlier, so I didn't think much of it until I saw her emerge from her office with a glazed over look in her eyes. When she walked by my door to go back into her office a few minutes later, I heard her coughing and sniffling. An hour or so later, I heard C start to sneeze again in the same rapid way. I was surprised how quick their succession was as they were not in any way cough-like but very clearly nose based and very, very itchy. ischew hitcheww hitcheww hitcheww ischewww itschew (5 second pause..) ischew hitscheww hitcheww hitcheww! Another fit of the same nature came a while later (I had come in late that day so I didn't hear the whole day's worth). The following day I heard the secretary who sits outside C's office ask if she was sick when she walked in. C sniffled and replied, "I've been sick since Monday," while wiping her watery eyes, "It's just a cold though." I heard two more rapid fire fits of sneezes that day and a lot of coughing, though it seemed like C was starting to feel better.

Please provide us with some more of C, esp her congestion and nose blowing. Thanks!
