By putting in asterisks we're hopefully preventing the bots from finding the links. I guess some humans didn't get it either but I don't know how to explain it any clearer to you, sorry. poiub Posted October 6, 2018 Share Posted October 6, 2018 Exactly, TBH I don't even know if twitch has that same functionality but youtubers have definitely found their way here in the past from people directly hotlinking their videos. Not hotlinking is an effort fly under the radar as that kind of thing usually ends in awkwardness or drama. @Esstrosa, honestly I don't meant to be rude but as @Paul said, if you're not able to put two parts of a URL together then I just don't know what else to tell you.
