anon321 Posted February 23, 2022 Share Posted February 23, 2022 The API for downloading chat from a VOD is still functional, and is still what the main Twitch site uses to display them while watching a VOD. This seems to indicate they aren't changing that with the deprecation of the v5 API. Many other parts of their API changed with the move to Helix, which is why some of the chat tools broke, but that was mainly around auth I'd guess. As pointed out above, there are several chat downloader tools that still work fine. Link to comment
