Guy besides me on the plane: sick with a cold?

I was startled out of my daze when the guy besides me on the plane today suddenly blows his nose. He looks like he's in his late twenties. I steal a glance at him and can see that he is holding a tissue in his hand while he blows a long and wet blow into it. He wipes his nose thoroughly and puts the used tissue into the pocket in his jacket. I didn't think more about the situation because nose blowing isn't really my thing... 

Again I was startled out of my daze. This time it was three sudden and harze sneezes catched in his right hand while he steadied his drink with his left hand. It looked  like the sneezes caught him by surprise from the way his head suddenly snapped into his hand without any hitching or any other warning. The two first was rapid, but it was a slight pause before the third and last one. 

HETXHH...HETCH...... HEXTSSHH

After those sneezes he kept sniffing these soft, but still wet sniffles for the rest of the flight. He also blew his nose 3 more times. Each blow was long and drawn out, and everytime he thoroughly folded and unfolded the same tissue. 

I also deared to look at his face and could see that his nose was red around the edges. 

When we were about to leave our seats he sneezed just behind me. I was crazy enough to turn around and saw that he again catched the double in his hand.

I hope I won't catch his cold because I did pass his glass from him til the cabin crew to throw away. And who knows how many times that tissue had been in and out of his pocket  😱
