How do you draw an “X” ?

8 and 5, right-handed! If the X is the first letter of a word, I do an 8, if it's in the middle of a word, I do a 5.

as a math graduate I was interested in this- but I thought you were going to cover the alternative small x that is like two lower case c’s back to back

7 and right handed unless it's cursive, then 6 (and still right handed).

I'm left-handed and I do #8 in normal handwriting. In cursive, though, I finish writing the whole word before drawing in the crossbar, and if I'm doing an italic X for math purposes, I do #7 with a squiggly first stroke. 😄
