peach_princess Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Do you also find it disguisting that there are some people from our community, who ask random strangers on YouTube to make sneezing videos? And they ask literally random people, youtubers who accidentally sneezed in their videos. I'm pretty sure that the majority of us would never ask people from outside of the fetish community for any sneeze- related content. Such behavior only makes other people see us all as freaks and pervs. It's just not right...
Chanel_no5 Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 I couldn't agree more. I know there are only a few idiots who do this, but it's reflecting badly on all of us, just as you say. Personally, I don't watch or listen to sneeze vids that aren't made by other fetishists. At least they know what it's all about and do it voluntarily (though that doesn't, as some people seem to think, make it okay to demand stuff from them either!).
Blah!? Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Absolutely. It's disgraceful, it's harassment, and even looking at it from a purely selfish and amoral point of view, it's more likely to have the opposite of your desired effect anyway. A random non-fetishist is more likely to be grossed out and close up shop than they are to capitulate. You're more likely to get more sneezes out of non-fetishists if you literally do nothing. I suspect a lot of the perpetrators are the same kind of people who think all women secretly like being catcalled. It feels a lot like that same kind of entitlement.

It really does feel like our own community's little version of that larger dynamic, which existed before the internet but which online anonymity has done a lot to foment, which leads some men to just demand sexual gratification from women online, and then react with abuse when they don't get it. And I totally agree that, just like that larger category of behavior, it is totally counterproductive, and also makes the whole group you come from look like a bunch of entitled rapey assholes.
SneezyHolmes Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 I couldn't agree more. It's weird and casts the community as a whole in a very bad light. The amount of entitlement these people feel they have over both non-fetish and fetish content creators is disgusting.

Selene Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 (edited) As @Chanel_no5 said, there are so many great content creators here in our community already that I don't really get why we would have to harass other non-fetishists for sneezes. Some creators even ask for wishes and inspiration or take requests, so if a person has a specific scenario in mind, they could always ask for it on such an occasion. I feel like asking someone outside of the community for more sneezes is a bit like asking someone whose panties accidentally showed while they were getting out of a car to show them their panties again. That sneeze was just a coincidence, not directed at fetishist to derive pleasure from it. Also: you wouldn't walk up to anybody in real life who just happened to sneeze while you were around to ask them to sneeze for you again. The fact that this is the internet does not make requests like these any less strange to me than asking a stranger in real life for more sneezes. Edited January 26, 2019 by Selene
doggo Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Oh yuck seeing those comment makes me so mad. Like WTF how selfish can one be. And just generally leaving sleazy fetishy comments in non-fetish videos, yuck yuck yuck!!!

I wish people would stop using anonymity on the internet as permission to be disgusting and vile.

Everyone who does this: Stop it. Does this actually work for you? Because I know I wouldn't feel too kindly toward a bunch of strangers asking me to fulfill their obscure fetish just because I accidentally did so in a video on an entirely unrelated topic. You are making unsuspecting people feel uncomfortable, and you are exposing our fetish to more bad press and rubbing non-fetishists the wrong way about us. That's it. Stop.

etechie Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Unless, the YouTuber is explicitly saying "tell me about your fetish(s) and I might indulge in them" people should not be asking random youtuber's to make themselves sneeze
nancy Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 i tend to see people hounding women for sneeze content in their comments which is another reason why i don’t like to consume content that isn’t made specifically for this fetish, because random youtubers who happen to sneeze in blooper videos probably weren’t aware that it would be used for sexual gratification
bingochamp7 Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 This is one of those things that makes me cringe. On one hand, I think it’s natural to want to see and hear more sneezes that you enjoy, but it’s another thing to hound others, especially non-fetishists, for more sneezes.
BlessMeAchoo Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I wouldn't ask someone on the internet to induce since I'm not really into inducing in first place... I think this kind of request (for SNZ fetishist) is the same as asking someone to show off their private parts, which is pretty disrespectful in my opinion. You can be envious to hear the person sneeze, but asking for it is a whole different thing, especially (and in most cases) they are not aware of the fetish
Clark Kent Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 This behaviour really is the worst of the worst and really brings shame on us all as a community. It really knocks me sick when you read this kind of stuff on the page of someone unsuspecting. It must be really unnerving to them and the ironic thing is it makes anyone far less likely to leave anything in any future videos due to the moronic attention that the comments have provided. Sigh.
