Stu380 Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 OK, so my last natural sneeze happened about a month ago (as a result of a cold). Last weekend, I actually got to the build-up of two consecutive sneezes, but they both failed to complete (basically, I had an "ahh", but no "choo"), and now I still feel unfinished and a bit stuffy and head-achy as a result of no sneeze. I tried inducing by plucking my nose hairs, which ALMOST worked, but sadly failed. I didn't even get to the "ahh" stage of the sneeze. The problem is, I'm quite cautious when it comes to inducing sneezes, due to past experiences. I no longer want to stick things in my nostrils to make me sneeze because that makes me feel worse and has actually caused my nose to bleed before. I also don't want to try pepper or other spices because I think I have an allergy to one of them (not sure exactly which one, but better safe than sorry). I've tried pinching my nose and humming, perfume, cold air, vibrating items, and eating dark chocolate, but they don't work. I also don't have the photic sneeze reflex, so lights doesn't work either. The good news is I sometimes sneeze when I think of something erotic, but the bad news is I think I've now been desensitized to that, as it no longer happens. Would appreciate some advice. I just really want to sneeze and feel relieved. Thanks!
LeapYearKisses Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Have you ever tried plucking your eyebrows? Maybe not a long-term solution given you only have so much eyebrow, but I think that makes some people sneeze.

iojo Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 I would just very carefully try to induce. Like surgeons precision.

Every nose has that one spot that induces a sneeze without fail. I don't know if you have a feather duster, or feathers that you can trace the rims of your nostrils. That usually gets a strong tickle before sneezing. Inducing with dust may help too if you're not allergic.
