Felix Sandman (from Quicksand) - cold (no sneezing) - Any Swedish speakers can translate?

Hi all,

I watched the Swedish netflix show Quicksand and really liked the young actors and was looking for interviews with the cast, stumbled upon this:

It seems the lead actor is a popstar in Sweden, and he clearly has a cold in this video. And I don't understand a thing but at 0:23 he gets asked something and replies with "honey, lemon, ginger tea" or something - this I could somehowunderstand.
Is anyone here speaking Swedish and can translate if they're talking about his cold or what the connection is?

And yes, he is super young, but might be a hunk in the making ;)

The question he is asked at that time is "What is the last thing you do before you get up on stage?" and the answer is "I think I will be drinking honey, lemon, ginger tea until the last second before I get on"

The cold isn't mentioned in words here or in the rest of the video, it's just random questions.

I am German so understand random words kind of...but not enough for context or a real sentence.

I know no that "förkylning" is cold in Swedish 😁 and they DO talk about it here, but again no idea really what he is saying. Just get that she is asking him if he has a cold? Is he elaborating?

No problem. I don't live in Sweden anymore and I didn't follow ESC last year but apparently he was competing to represent Sweden.

The article is about preparations for the competition. He broke down in tears at rehearsal after singing his song the first time because he was so relieved his voice held out and then had to collect himself to be able to sing it again. He was emotionally overwhelmed that he was able to sing and that it went as well as it did. He had been battling a bad cold for days and had problems with hoarseness and congested sinuses. He had apparently considered cortisone injections if his voice didn't improve in time but it seemed rest and ginger did the trick. The cold was still there but he was starting to sound more like himself. When the worry about the cold was gone he was able to put more of his feelings into the performance. 

I think those were all parts that had anything to do with the illness

Oh, ok. I couldn't get it to play at first so I didn't watch it. My phone and/or internet has been a bit glitchy today. I watched it now anyway and it's much the same as what was in the article. He has been fighting off a bad cold but was feeling much better now and he was very relieved that it was getting better. He had seen some doctors and was given some good stuff that was really helping. He said at the end he would continue to cure the cold any way he could - tons of honey and ginger that he drinks all the time lately, pills and cough medicine that he was given. He felt confident in his upcoming performance now that he's recovering.
