A Rather...Interesting High Fashion Piece

I was Googling sneeze related things, as is my wont, when I stumbled across this;

I have so many questions. Who thought this was a good idea? How did they come up with this particular idea/design? Who would actually wear this? And why do they think people would pay over $500 for it?

On the bright side, it is good for a laugh. Hence my sharing it with all of you.

That's the part that really gets me. If it was made out of something like sterling silver and fake fur and sold for $20-25, it would still be a baffling piece, but probably something I'd consider buying if only for the "someone actually made this" factor.

(That being said, while I still probably wouldn't buy it for myself even at that price, if I had a boyfriend who knew about my kink and got it for me as a teasing gift, I'd find it sweet. I'd never wear it in public, though.)

I think I would probably make a nose out of ceramic or something cheap. Maybe even silicone

It's terrible and I love it.  But I would never buy it at that price or wear it anywhere.  This does give me some inspiration for various stupid worldbuilding in  my fetish shit, though.  Hmmm.

Well, I guess the unnecessarily rich should have their share of naughty things, too. The rest of us get bedsheets with feather patterns and discreet stuff like that.

There's this one called Frolicon that I want to go to one year. It's like a whole convention where you can buy stuff, see shows, see panels, and there's supposedly a really nice dungeon ^^

there's general all-fetish-welcome type parties/cons that exist as well, you'd be surprised the range of acceptance & enthusiasm out there

I just wanted to signal boost this. I've been to kink parties and honestly the most welcoming, accepting, and supportive people I've met have been from these circles.

It's where I learned that the stuff I've got going on? It ain't nothing compared to some of the other stuff out there- and hey, as long as it's safe, sane, and consensual, these differences that otherwise have us stigmatized and degraded, are really just different aspects that are to be celebrated

Live it up! Find some parties! Make some friends! (Stay safe, obviously, but for real- in my experience at least, kink parties and communities are uplifting and awesome!)

Wow thank you guys for the info!! That sounds so fun!! I love the idea of being surrounded by that kind of openness/acceptance and getting to meet people with similarly "weird" kinks. It's one of the reasons this forum is so great -- It's nice talking to like-minded people and getting to normalize what you're into
