Stifles

Hey!

So I’m curious about stifled sneezes. I am not a big fan of stifles myself—perhaps it’s because I’m thinking too much about the sexual metaphor of sneezing, perhaps it’s because I’m into the whole loss of control/release aspect and a stifle seems like the opposite of that to me. But! Lots of people love stifles, and I’m always curious to know more about the fetish so... stifle lovers! What’s hot about stifled sneezes? Do you like the ones that are basically silent, or a more loud/messy/failed stifle? Or both? Do you like the stifle to lead to sneezing, or do you enjoy or even prefer if there is ultimately no “let out” sneeze? I’m super curious to hear people’s opinions!

For my part, though I’m generally not a stifle fan, I have found the occasional desperate, barely contained stifle that’s still pretty noisy enjoyable. But perhaps because that seems to emphasize the “size” of the sneeze despite the stifle, which sort of seems like the opposite of the appeal of stifling? Is anybody into the “maintaining control” aspect of a stifle as opposed to losing control? 

Okay I’m sure that’s enough rambling. Interested to see folks’ responses!

Yes.  

Seriously, I agree with all of that. I'm generally not a stifle fan, but stifles that really sound like they take a huge effort, as well as failed stifles, those are lovely. Not my first choice for sneezes, but hot nevertheless. I like fits that start out with stifles, turns into half-stifles, and then goes right into full, loud, wet sneezes. A desperate last-ditch attempt at maintaining (or retaking) control, before it just gets completely out of hand. I also like that sometimes, stifling seems to make the tickle worse, so the sneezer keeps going, until it's no use trying to suppress them anymore, and they have to let them out to get rid of the tickle once and for all. 

I like the idea of someone stifling sneezes against someone else (ideally a lover/partner), too. I'm not super big on the mess aspect, so that's how I'd like to be sneezed on by a hypothetical lover.

I think there are a couple of factors that play into my enjoyment of stifles. The main thing I consistently like is the sound. I really love a lot of the suppressed or squelched sounds that stifled sneezes make, and I tend to dislike stifles that are too quiet or even silent.

Aside from that, I think I also like the nose interaction that often goes into them. Someone wrinkling their nose for a hands-free stifle, squeezing their nose for a more traditional one, or my personal favorite, holding a finger or two under their nostrils. I just eat that stuff up.

Sometimes I also feel like I'm one of the few people that enjoys stifles where the sneezer breathes out a little "choo..." afterward. I totally understand why some people don't like those, but I think they're just so darn cute.

That. Is. Me. YASSSS PLEAZZZE! The "choo" makes me melt... 😍 

I'm a HUGE stifle lover. I love the desperation and trying-not-to-lose-the-control thing. I myself am extremely shy about sneezing in public (hi, dear mental block), and even if I sneeze, I'd always stifle. So, when I hear other people stifle, I start to feel this wild, bubbling power inside me. I know just how much they are ashamed and shy, and how much they don't want the sneezing to go on, but they can't help it, and in the last desperate attempt to hide, they stifle 😍😥

I guess, I really like the exaggerated feeling of something taking over people, especially when they try to resist (not just when they let go and enjoy). Lol, am I cruel? 😂😂😂

1. I don't like silent ones: what's the fun if I can't hear it? Messy and wet are my favorites. 

2. I love the escalation from stifled to open, I find it very hot. Though I love completely stifled fits as well, not more and not less.
