Will I get it?

So were I live there is this 3 things happening at the same time:

-End of cold and flu season

-Finals ( which means lower defenses and many hours at the library)

-Allergy season on full blown mode.

Add on top massive wether changes.

So my problem comes here, the library is full of people with red noses and tissue packets on the table, along with crumpled snotty used ones in some cases. During the year I try to avoid taking a sit next to any one with tissues on the table because it means they are sick and I don’t want their germs. However today that was impossible. The library I go to has big tables, were 3 people sit facing the other 3. THERE WASN’T A SINGLE TABLE THAT DIDN’T HAVE AT LEAS ONE RED NOSE PERSON WITH TISSUES BY THERE SIDE. I know that most of them just have allergies (my boyfriend and my cousin have and they are horrible at the moment) but despite know most of the red noses are due to allergies I also know that flu season isn’t completely over, and some of those people are in fact sick and are contagious.

So my question is will I get sick?

Today I took the safest choice. I sat on a table with two other girls, one on the corner and one infront but on the middle sit, so I took the other corner, this way I wasn’t sitting directly next to or in front of anyone,

The girl on the corner had a tissue packet but she didn’t blow or sneez while I was there. 

The girl in the middle used 3 tissues and she gave about 5 blows. Poor thing was completely clogged up, she was breathing through her mouth the whole time, from time to time she will give her tissue a long wet gurly blow but that didn’t seem to clear her sinuses because she will keep breathing through her mouth. Appart from that she didn’t look miserable so I hope both girls just had allergies.

I sneezed once before dinner and I’m now in bed with an extra blanket because I’m chilly and the thermometer in my mouth. I don’t think I’m sick jet but something tells me I’ll be in a couple of days, so I want to keep tract of my temperature.

36.4C no fever for me today, let’s see how long until I’m all miserable feverish and full of cold.🤧🤒

Any update? For your sake I hope it was a false alarm, but if it wasn't, we'd be delighted to hear about it.
